Side Effects Chapter 9 – FACING EVIL

Tina: “well…, what I wanted was for you to touch other parts of my body”
Bette: “really…, why I didn’t notice it…? Well, any way you didn’t need to wait too long”
Tina: “fortunately…, I felt like I was on heat”
Bette: “oh…, you’re right…, I remember…”
Remembering
It has been around six days since the girls passed the weekend together in the house of Tina’s mother; both girls have been going everywhere together, and in the small lesbian community of MIT, the word has been spread that the popular and coveted Bette Porter has a girlfriend and every dyke wanted to know who the girl was. The young couple, however, was oblivious of what people were saying here and there; and they had been spending their free time playing their 3D-chess in Tina’s bedroom at the university, indeed it was every night, and they were betting all they could imagine except having sex. The sexual tension was growing as the days passed and the kisses, caresses, and touches became more intimate, nonetheless, both girls fought to restrain their needs and wants; which there were going to break free soon.
The coldness of fall was enveloping Boston and most of the regular attendants to the Revere beach decided it was time to change the sand and waves of the shore, by indoors activities, and the preferred one was the lesbian bar Disco-Nights on Saturdays. Bette heard about that through Shane, and she wanted to take Tina there; she knew the blonde’s intimate barriers were falling down and maybe seeing other couples and their public display of affections would push her in the appropriate direction, and she had to find the way to invite Tina to the bar and make sure she will accept.
Finally, Friday arrived and Bette asked Tina to go to the lesbian bar on Saturday evening along with Alice, Frankie, Shane, and Carmen, to which the blonde accepted, and they decided to do this evening what they use to do on Saturday, which was to go shopping.
On their way back from the mall, they stopped in an ice cream parlor where they bought some cones of different flavors.
Bette: “Tina, you don’t drive cars, right?”
Tina: “you mean here in Boston?”

Hi SG:
I’m sorry, I knew you don’t like cliffhangers, but I left a cryptic message in FB and twitter for those like you who don’t like them, and is also in my author note.
But, anyway, apparently, I will have a little more time next week and I will try to post soon (I hope).
Thanks for reading and commenting.

Hi,
I know I read your notes, didn’t help me to deal with the Cliffhanger :-)
Well a week has passed, is the next post about to appear:-)
Look forward to letting go of this cliff sometime soon!
SG
Be patient, the first word in the next chapter. Almost ready.
P
Oh my God those Cliffhangers again!
You know you have to update this week!
Great story proteonomics!
Hi Bibi:
Thanks for your comment, I’ll try to update soon.
However, the ‘clue’ to solving the cliffhanger, is in those last two chapters. Then you may have an idea of what is coming in the next chapter.
The cliffhanger is the reason why this chapter is a bit longer than the former ones because I wanted to reach this point. Now, I’m feeling a little guilty.
Thank you so much, my friend, for your last words, and I’ll try my best to post soon.
