“Officer Christina Kennard, I hope you understand the repercussion of your deliberate disobedience.” The FBI agent was pissed off to say in the least, still grudging about being dragged out of bed early in the morning to deal with some kind of emergency at the prison where they held a critical suspect. How wasn’t he surprised, to find the cause to be this young officer?
Then Morris eyed the other women in silent questioning, until Shane stepped up, and extended her hand, “You must be agent Morris. My name is Shane McCutcheon, senior CIA record admin for recruited criminal informants. And my colleagues, Jennifer Schecter, operative agent, Carmen de la—you know what, just Carmen, technician.”
As the skinny brunette introduced, Tina felt a bit victorious to see his eyes widen.
“I believe you’re holding someone valuable to our agency.” Shane ignored the FBI agent’s protesting stare, and nodded to Marina, “You may lead the way, warden.”
It was the second time Tina had seen the brunette after the capture. Bette looked even more frail, beaten up and in a great deal of pain. She was taken to a secluded area of the prison where the interrogation would proceed once again. Upon seeing the three woman whose face were tanned from desert sun, Bette’s reaction convinced the FBI agent that she did, in fact, know them as CIA operatives.
“Schuster, Don Juan, and DJ chick with a long ass family name.” Bette bade them greetings in the only way she knew. Even though their names remained secret from her, the fact they showed up was a reason good enough to believe they were to help her.
Bette came clean to Shane, who she knew was the most authoritative agent among the bunch, about her involvement within Pulpo’s sphere of influence, as well as the alleged shootings.
“He valued my expertise in counter-detection and knowledge about all sorts of ammo, because I dealt arsenals before.”
Shane nodded, and filled in the FBI agent about the time she worked as an informant.
“Tell us about Tina Kennard.” Morris insisted.
“I knew she wasn’t just a nurse, pretty much from the beginning,” Her eyes softened at the topic, though her expression remained stoic from the stabbing ache in her stomach. “Not that she was a terrible undercover. I had suspicions because I knew her before. And…I pursued her, I let her infiltrate to gain information on Jorge, I covered for her.”

I don’t actually know how the agencies work in the US, I just looked them up in wikipedia and bullshitted a lot. Anything to bring the two back together, ya know?
Shout out to Bibi, pikiangelica, dunn, wkm, tanishaa, lip, and all the other silent viewers. You’re the reason I keep writing. I’m thankful that you stuck with this story during the darkest time and bumpy roads lol. From now on, it’s gonna be a pretty smooth ride.

Well I have something to say, I’m mad at you Robyn because this story is not supposed to end yet… I want more.. I love this story, it’s great and different and great and yeah really great… So I’m not ready for the last chapter.. I want sappy but I also want more… And if we have to have a last chapter please make it with lots and lots of loving-NC-17 type loving and very very long with lots of cute sappy moments and great conversations.. And information on what happens to other key players…

Well HELENA is a good guy after all. TINA was right to call him on this and defend BETTE.YEAH you got the agencies right all about self and not about sacrifices of the one doing the work.now let’s really get these two off by themselves so the healing can begin and thanks for posting.

This was a great chapter, loved the way Tina is there supporting her woman.
Wonderful chapter. This has been areal nail biter for me, I can’t wait to see what happens next for these two. Maybe you could even do a little something special for Helena for helping Bette out. The feds are trying to take all of Bette’ money but I’m sure she probable has some stashed so she and Tina can start their new lives without having to worry about being poor. PPS :)
