    So this is it, what you’ve been waiting for, right? Lots and lots and lots of Danish…eventually.

                “Wait, what?” She’d lost me with that last part. “When did I say I’d stopped liking Dana?”

                She looked away from the road for a second to give me a shocked look. “So me and Dana then?!”

                “What? You?! No! When did I say I liked you?” I would have jumped out of my seat is I wasn’t in a moving vehicle. “I mean, I love you, you’re one of my best friends, but I don’t love you that way!”

                “But… Tina told me that when you and Dana were talking the other night you were hinting that you liked me. But you were obviously talking about Dana!” She hit her head with a free hand. “God, remind me never to listen to Dana again! You see, this is why I don’t listen to gossip!”

                “Yes, Dana can be very dim.” I agreed, still confused about what had just been said. “So… we’re good? No one in this car likes anyone else in this car?”

                “No! Wait, I lied.” I shrunk back from her a bit. “I like the snoopy bobble-head in the back window seat.”

                “Oh, whew! Okay then. We need to go straighten Tina and Dana out. Now.” She stepped on the gas, and soon we were running towards the Planet.

                The restaurant was crowded wit people from front to back, and there was a line out the door. Even all the tables were filled up, except for a few empty chairs sitting at a table with Dana and Tina. The lights were scarce in the small building, except for a stage set up at the front of the room, where a rock and roll band was playing, the blue, red, and green lights flashing down on them in haphazard combinations. In front of the band, the active audience bopped up and down to the music, nodding their head and tapping their feet.

                “Oh, oh!” Yelped Dana excitedly. “There’s Alice!” She pointed to the entrance where the blonde had just walked in the door, dragging someone inside with her. Dana’s tone was less enthusiastic when she saw who had arrived with Alice. “And Shane. They came together?” She made a face and Tina rubbed her shoulder comfortingly.

    8. Dorky you did it! They’re finally together! :D Typically Danish to not read each other (sometimes too subtle) signs. ;) Dana was too cute with her announcement on the stage. A great ending (which screams for sa follow-up. :P)
