Bette smiled and took Tina’s hand – her own anti drug sentiments seemed to have rubbed off on Tina. It was funny how they had picked up traits and opinions from the other person while still retaining their own identity. In Bette’s opinion that was one of the things that showed that they were more than capable of spending the rest of their lives together.

“You know that I agree that what she has done is appalling and she deserves what has happened to her – being sent down for a year is going to be tough on her “

“She should have been expelled –spoilt brat “

“First offence and knowing your sister she is not beyond taking the college to court – they gave her a second chance”

“Are you asking me to invite her ?”

“No “ Bette said “ I think that you and I should have the wedding guests that we want and that means power of veto “

Tina smiled “Thank you “

“I don’t want blood spilling on our wedding “

Tina yawned “Is it bad to really wish that the wedding was tomorrow ?”

“No – but if it was tomorrow we would be standing on the beach in shorts and Bermuda shirts “

“We HAVE to get our outfits figured out – are you not concerned ?”

Bette shook her head “Not hugely no – we will pick a morning or afternoon and we will go to a mall or something and we will find one outfit “

Tina exhaled “ I want to wear a dress – that’s how I feel “

“You will look lovely in any dress – how about one with ruffles and a giant train and maybe a veil “

Tina punched Bette good naturedly making the brunette laugh

“Now I have not read as many brides magazines as perhaps I should but I am fairly certain that punching your future wife isn’t correct wedding etiquette “

“The problem is that neither of us have ever read a wedding magazine”

“Its not hard Tina – we are both intelligent and creative people – how hard does it have to be to find a nice outfit for us to wear at our wedding ?”
