    “I mean, no one finds their soul mate when they’re 10 years old right?”

    Tina leaned back into Bette’s embrace and laid her head on the brunette’s chest, "How did you learn about that?"
    Bette shrugged, "I saw it in a movie once"
    Tina chuckled, okay so maybe Bette just watched more movies than Tina did.
    Suddenly curious, Tina decided to ask another question.
    "Hey, Bette?”
    "Yeah?"
    "What else happened in the movie?"
    Bette’s chin was resting comfortably on top of Tina’s, her eyebrows furrowed as she thought about the movie she had stumbled upon . . literally. One night she had been sneaking downstairs to grab a cookie from the kitchen when she tripped into the living room. Thankfully her father was fast asleep on the couch and didn’t hear anything. Bette had gotten up quickly to run out of the room when she saw the movie playing on the television screen. It was a late night movie and she knew she wasn’t supposed to watch but her curious mind had gotten the better of her when she saw the two main characters bring their faces close together.
    "Umm . . they kissed I think"
    Tina’s eyes widened as she pulled back again to look at Bette, "Really? What was it like?"
    Bette wrinkled her nose as if the thought alone disgusted her, "It looked kinda . . messy and stuff"
    "That’s weird . . every time my sister tells me about the boys she kisses, she says how amazing it is"
    Bette shook her head, "I saw Kit and Angus kiss before . . trust me, its messy"
    "Have you ever kissed a boy before?" Tina asked curiously.
    Bette made a face of disgust, "Ew, no . . and after seeing what it looks like . . I don’t think I want to, ever"
    Tina laughed, "Oh come on, it couldn’t have been that bad"
    Bette gave Tina an "are you serious?" kind of look.
    "Oh yeah? I’ll show you"
    Tina looked up at Bette totally innocent and completely confused, "But I’m not a boy"
    Bette shrugged, "So? You have lips. Its the same thing"

    13. Not sure if I’ve commented on one of your stories before – but I have been reading and enjoying! Had to comment on this one because I was excited to see that someone else also thought that this movie/story would be made even better by replacing B&T as the main characters…I confess that there are several of my favorite movies that I want to do that with, shhhh ;) Anyway, thx for this and I’m definitely looking forward to see how your Sweet Home B&T unfolds!! PPVS

    16. so cute! sweet home is one of my favorites. i agree the story line fits with b&t perfectly as the main characters. i can already imagine the banter between them. wonder if you’re goin’ to incorporate the cat with the scorched tail in your version. lol, loved that part.
