    Author Notes: Hey everyone, I'm so excited to share the updated version of my story with you I've rewritten and expanded it, adding Tina's POV to give you a deeper look into their journey and I hope you love it too I'd love to know what you think.
    Summary:
    Bette and Tina’s love story began with sparks and endless excitement. They built a life together, filled with dreams of a future, but over time, cracks began to form. Now, standing on the brink of divorce, they must decide whether their relationship can be mended or if it’s beyond repair. Can they overcome the pain and past mistakes, or is it time to let go for good? Their journey is one of healing, forgiveness, and the search for hope in the face of uncertainty. I hope you enjoy following their journey and the emotional twists that come with it.

    The knock on the door startles Tina for a moment, but before she can move, she hears Angelica’s little voice, all excited and eager.

    Angelica (in her cute, high-pitched voice): I open it! I open it

    She darts toward the door with a giggle, her tiny feet pattering on the floor. Tina smiles softly, following her daughter to the door.

    Tina (gently): Okay, sweetie, go ahead.

    Angelica flings the door open with a bit of effort, her face lighting up when she sees Kit standing on the other side. Kit smiles brightly, leaning down to greet her.

    Kit: Well, good morning, my beautiful girl

    Before Tina can react, Kit scoops Angelica up into her arms, her smile as warm as ever. Angelica squeals with joy, clinging to her aunt as Kit lifts her up.

    Tina chuckles and steps aside as Kit carries Angelica into the dining room, where Bradley is already sitting at the table. Kit gives Bradley a kiss on the top of his head, greeting him warmly.

    Kit (smiling): Good morning, big guy

    Bradley (with his usual sweetness, beaming): Morning, Aunt Kit

    Tina watches the interaction with a soft smile before glancing at Kit.

    Tina: Are you hungry, Kit?

    Kit: No, just coffee. You know me.

    As they sit down together, the morning continues, and after finishing breakfast, Tina helps Bradley and Angelica put on their jackets, their excited chatter filling the kitchen. Bradley’s face lights up as he talks about the activity he’s most excited for at kindergarten.

    Bradley: mommy, today, I’m going to build a spaceship, His hands move animatedly, showing the steps. First, I’ll make the engine with blocks, then the wings! I’ll make sure they’re strong, like the ones on a real rocket He pauses, deep in thought. I can even make a little astronaut with my Play Doh, and he’s going to fly to the moon. His voice is filled with pride as he talks about the intricate details of his creation. I’ll have to figure out how to make it go up in the air, like the rockets in the sky There’s a spark in his eyes as he talks, the same curiosity and creativity that reminds you so much of Bette. I want to see if it can go all the way to Mars, his excitement is palpable, his mind already working out the best way to turn his imaginative idea into something real.

    1. A great start to this story! I’m hooked already. I really like the part where Bette addressed the judge and then Tina spoke directly to her. And the part where Bette whispers to herself that she’ll bring them back together.

    3. Oh dear, I just found your story today. Great start, well it’s sad, but I think Bette will do everything she can to win Tina back. What’s with the name Bradley Knox..What’s with the difference in the last name if these are Bette’s children? Please continue this story. Can’t wait for a new chapter. WE WANT MORE…FAST, FAST,FASTER. Lol

As for the last name his full name is Bradley Knox Porter. He’s the son of both Bette Porter and Tina Kennard.       I must tell you, accidentally I stumbled on this one on another website and there this first chapter is much much longer, with Tina’s POV. Can you fix that, for other readers here, please?

        I’m really glad you’re enjoying the story and yes the longer version with Tina’s POV was part of an extended draft I shared elsewhere. I’ll definitely update it here too so everyone can get the full experience from both perspectives.
