    Author Notes: Hey everyone, I'm so excited to share the updated version of my story with you I've rewritten and expanded it, adding Tina's POV to give you a deeper look into their journey and I hope you love it too I'd love to know what you think.
    Summary:
    Bette and Tina’s love story began with sparks and endless excitement. They built a life together, filled with dreams of a future, but over time, cracks began to form. Now, standing on the brink of divorce, they must decide whether their relationship can be mended or if it’s beyond repair. Can they overcome the pain and past mistakes, or is it time to let go for good? Their journey is one of healing, forgiveness, and the search for hope in the face of uncertainty. I hope you enjoy following their journey and the emotional twists that come with it.

    She exhales slowly, wiping a stray tear from her cheek that she didn’t even realize had fallen. Tina’s been trying so hard to maintain the strength for her children, but there are moments like this when the weight of it all feels unbearable. She stands there for a moment longer, eyes closed, her hand on the cool counter, trying to gather herself before the day really starts.

    The coffee is ready. She pours herself a cup, black, a little stronger than usual, the bitter taste a small comfort. It’s another day ahead, another step forward, and while everything still feels uncertain, she’s trying really trying to make it work.

    After a deep breath, Tina heads to the kids’ room, her heart softening when she sees them sleeping. Bradley, now 5 years old, is the spitting image of Bette. His dark, curly hair tumbles wildly around his face, and his little brows furrow slightly, even in his sleep, as if he’s already thinking ahead. There’s something about his well organized nature, even as a child, that makes him feel like a little adult. He always has a calm, serious demeanor, but his bright brown eyes light up when he smiles especially when he’s excited about something. Tina can see how much of Bette’s strength and focus he’s inherited, yet there’s also a softness to him that reminds her of when she first became a mother.

    Angelica, on the other hand, is her little whirlwind. At 3, her hair is a messy, soft tumble of wavy blonde locks that look like they belong to a wild angel, framing her face in tousled waves. She has a slightly darker complexion than Tina but lighter than Bette’ s just the perfect shade that makes her glow. Even in her sleep, Angelica’s small lips are turned up in a mischievous smile, like she’s dreaming up something playful. Her little hands are curled in the cutest way, always a little fidgety even when she’s still. As much as Bradley is serious, Angelica is playful and full of joy, ready to jump into a game at any moment. Her wide, blue eyes are always sparkling with curiosity, and she has a way of looking at you like she’s trying to figure out the world, piece by piece.

    1. A great start to this story! I’m hooked already. I really like the part where Bette addressed the judge and then Tina spoke directly to her. And the part where Bette whispers to herself that she’ll bring them back together.

    3. Oh dear, I just found your story today. Great start, well it’s sad, but I think Bette will do everything she can to win Tina back. What’s with the name Bradley Knox..What’s with the difference in the last name if these are Bette’s children? Please continue this story. Can’t wait for a new chapter. WE WANT MORE…FAST, FAST,FASTER. Lol

As for the last name his full name is Bradley Knox Porter. He’s the son of both Bette Porter and Tina Kennard.       I must tell you, accidentally I stumbled on this one on another website and there this first chapter is much much longer, with Tina’s POV. Can you fix that, for other readers here, please?

        I’m really glad you’re enjoying the story and yes the longer version with Tina’s POV was part of an extended draft I shared elsewhere. I’ll definitely update it here too so everyone can get the full experience from both perspectives.
