    “I’d like to believe you Jodi but I know the truth of what happened and so does Kelly otherwise she wouldn’t have made the comment about lying to the police. If she truly believed it was an accident she wouldn’t constitute telling that to the authorities as lying. I still can’t believe that the two people that I loved most in the world would plot to kill me. Joyce didn’t even want me coming here. She wanted me to go straight to the police once she found out I was alive but I couldn’t do that. I had to confront you to see for myself.

    “It wasn’t like that Tina. We didn’t plot to kill you. It was an accident … a very tragic accident.”

    “But you did nothing to help me Jodi. If it were purely an accident with no premeditation on your part why didn’t you take some action to try to save me? You knew I couldn’t swim; you knew I was deathly afraid of the water. I was struggling for my life while you just stood by and watched as I was being torn apart by that reptile. I didn’t expect you to jump into the water but you had a rifle in the boat. One of you could have easily fired at the croc or even in the air to get help. You were so gung ho to go crocodile hunting when the animal was defenseless but when it was attacking you couldn’t kill it to protect the woman you’d sworn to love, honor and cherish till death do us part? Had I known you would take the ‘till death do us part’ so literally I might not have insisted on including it in our marriage vows.”

    “We were in shock Tina. We didn’t think fast enough. Besides if we’d fired at the croc we could have shot you. By the time I came to my senses and picked up the rifle it was too late. We thought you were dead.”

    “But I wasn’t dead Jodi. Shooting me on purpose or even by accident would have been more merciful than leaving me alive for croc tucker. You can’t imagine the horror of being bitten repeatedly and dragged under that filthy murky water. Seeing it turn red from my own blood; swallowing it into my lungs and gasping for air. If it weren’t for Joe telling me about some vulnerable spots on the croc to attack or had it been one of the bigger ones I would have been dead for sure. It was a miracle that I survived.”

    2. My God! I’m smiling like a damn fool at 1:05 am and my ass needs to be asleep cause I got to get up at 5 am for work. I was asleep but woke up several times to check for the post. FINALLY it was here and I just finished reading it! Tina gave a performance of a LIFE TIME! Tina Kennard wins the OSCAR for best actress! You go girl! You one bad ass BITCH! Babe In Total Control Herself!! Bette just topped it off by putting her arms around her. That was such a romantic moment! I had tears in my eyes at that moment! You are one AMAZING writer!     8. It was worth the wait. This chapter was fantastic! I loved that Tina was no longer a victim but victorious. All people should quit being the victim, but turn the tables on the abuser. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I hope there will be more chapters to this story, but it will be hard to beat this last chapter. No matter what, I do wish you the best in your writings and I hope that you are doing it as a career, you do have talents.
