    “Tina. I have to show you something. Please, you have to know the truth.” “If it’s about my girlfriend, I don’t need to know anything else from you. I have had enough, Helena. All you’ve ever done was bitch about Bette and make me feel like a spineless fool. You do not talk about Bette

    “Tina. I have to show you something. Please, you have to know the truth.”

    “If it’s about my girlfriend, I don’t need to know anything else from you. I have had enough, Helena. All you’ve ever done was bitch about Bette and make me feel like a spineless fool. You do not talk about Bette for any reason or I swear, you will not be in my life.”

    “Tina, please. I also invited the girls. Let me just show you what it is. I promise you I won’t say a word unless you ask. You can take it or leave it. I wouldn’t be a friend if I didn’t do this.”

    “Fine. But I only have an hour.” Tina frowns. It’s probably nothing. It’s probably another fruitless, pathetic attack. She returns to her task at hand, doing her best to concentrate but the nagging feeling about what Helena has to show her is making it extremely difficult.

    Two hours later, Tina walks quickly to her usual table of her favorite restaurant downtown. It’s been a long time since she’s had lunch away from her desk. She smiles at the view. The wide tinted windows overlook a small park where children play with boats inside a large fountain. She takes the only empty seat and hugs her friends gratefully.

    “Everything is amazing and wonderful again. Thanks so much for being there for me and making me realize what a complete asshole I’ve been.” Tina grabs her water and takes a very long drink.

    “So you had a good anniversary?”

    “Actually, no. But I’m making it up to her tonight.” Tina winks as her body gushes with excitement.

    “That’s great, Tina.”

    “Is she working yet?” Helena says sharply.

    “She’s working on some things. In fact, she’s been really busy these last few weeks. She won’t tell me what it is. She wants it to be a surprise.” Tina defends.

    “And how much is this surprise costing you?”

    “She hasn’t asked me for a cent. She refuses to take any money from me. And if you keep along these lines, Helena, I’m going to leave.” Tina looks at her directly in the eyes. Helena smiles, it’s exactly what she wanted to hear.

    “Tina, I’m just looking out for you. I don’t want you to get hurt.”

    4. I think Helena receive a kick in the ass by Tina and Bette and friendship will be lost by Tina and the girls. I hope that this time a coup Bette and Tina Helena too! Thanks for your chapter.

    5. If Tina is questioning anyone’s devious motives it should be Helena’s not Bette. All she needs to do is think about what happened on the island and how she came to be on that plane in the first place. Additionally she either trusts Bette or she doesn’t. Bette doesn’t need to explain herself. If Bette is an assassin, I hope Helena is her next target and this time she finishes the job. :-)

    9. As Tina’s friends they should’ve been told her what Helna was trying to do. They are not.really good friends because they are continually let Helena attempt to sabotage B&T relationship without Tina having a clue.
