I grab a glass of champagne and JJ emerges from a crowd of people
“Hello Madam President “
“JJ – how’s things ?”
“Interesting – I would say that this is a gay festival – place is swarming with our kind “
“I should hold a reception for the GLBT groups and let my staff have fun “
“Might be an idea – how are you doing ? any sign of your stalker ?”
“I haven’t seen her but she will be here”
“You seen a little stressed “
One of the advantages of having JJ around is I can use her as my part time therapist
“Women who think they can break my marriage tend to get me nervous like that “
JJ raises her eyebrow at me
“You think she has that amount of power ?”
“No – but she thinks she has that level of power though and that is what has got me nervous. She’s a nuisance “
“How did you feel when she showed up a month ago ?”
“I freaked “
“Because she reminds you of the past or because you are still attracted to her ?”
“Not the second point – she’s beautiful – time has been kind to her and she has the money to have every treatment going so she doesn’t look her age. You ever see her in a movie ?”
“Yes – I remember her on that terrible early 70’s hospital drama “
“So do I and she was once a glamorous secret agent in an episode of Charlie’s Angels”
“Now I loved that show “
I laugh “Me too – she’s been in every show you can name – she’s been a hit on B roadway – she can sing “
“She gets a lot of that from her mom doesn’t she ?”
“Yeah – now she was a genuine Hollywood star – died before her star could wane as well. So tell me what you think of all of this JJ “
“Seems to me that you are safe enough in your marriage to Tina – you know that you are not going to be tempted by her – but she un-nerves you “
“I was under her spell – I guess that makes me unhappy now – stirs up a lot of ghosts you know “
“I do – just remember that all those years ago you GAVE her the power to hurt you – when she shows up
again you do not have to give her that power. Its time that she found out first hand just how strong you are “

Thanks for the update – really appreciate it. Have a great vacation and enjoy your self totally – don’t even think about writing. But when you return to the Lwing please please please have Bette show this woman the door fast.
I can’t wait to see what happens when Holly arrives. Even with all the protection Bette has I’m concerned that she will somehow get to Bette. I just hope Bette is prepared to put her in her place…
