She comes back into the room and gets into bed – I wait to see how she will be with me. We lie apart for a few minutes until she reaches out and takes hold of my hand.
“Will you let me help you Tina?”
“There’s nothing to help me over – unless you really want to declare my birthday a National Holiday “
“Tina ?”
“No Bette – I know what you mean but I don’t want to talk about it – in time I might – but ..”
she trails off and I look across at her – she looks so sad. I kiss her hand.
“Its okay Tina – I’m sorry to push you “
She rolls across to me and kisses my neck.
“Now why don’t you roll onto your back and let me get some massage oil and I will really relax you. Then I can make very long slow love to you so when you greet the President of Bulgaria you will be nice and content “
She has this soft, sensual tone that she drops into when she wants to distract me – and boy does it work. I can just say remember my name when she starts talking in that low erotic voice – I hope she never talks like that in a Press Briefing.
We stayed in the Residence until
“Evening Shane “
She moves to get up – I indicate she should sit still.
“Busy day Shane ?”
“Not bad Madam President “
“We need to talk about what I told you last night -call me Bette “
Shane looks thoughtful – “So have you sorted out your problems with her ?”
“I groveled and she accepted me back “
“How long has it be going on ?”

i have to say, much as i am enjoying this story, i really can’t stand how bette is so nasty to shane and her other staff, and tina has been nasty to alice and shane as well…not thinking too much of them at the moment… they are both too self-involved and involved with each other to think of being nice people to others

I’m getting bad vibes here. It almost seems like both of them are playing with fire. At any rate I agree with bandtfan in that Tina is awesome in this story. I’m guessing Afghanistan is what made her to be such a strong person.

I love this Tina as well, she is strong, independent, assertive and agressive when need be. It’s great!! I also love the fact that Bette is not the player in this story. Looking forward to the next chapter!

i guess it was tina who was with bette’sgirlfriend when she was killed.when bette finds out she is going to be so pissed at tina all hell is going to break off in the oval office. but tinaprobably didnt no she dating the president.
