“Is she serious about you ?”

“She’s just got a reputation “

“She used to date Helena – and there was Vikki Grays who is a lobbyist and Kate Fletcher whose an aide to Max Jalkin – I just don’t know how you’d be if she moved on”
I find myself getting annoyed – what the hell is she saying about Tina ?
“Just say whatever is on your mind Shane “
“She has a reputation as being a bit of a professional power player “
A what ?
“You don’t like Tina ?”
“No – I like her a lot – she is a great Press Secretary – clever and brilliant – I just don’t want you to get hurt Bette “
” I won’t get hurt Shane because we are not going to split up “
“Come on Bette – you can’t know for certain – don’t act like you are a 17 year old with your first crush “
I do not want to hear this – I stand up.
“What’s wrong Shane – you don’t like the idea of her becoming the First Lady ? – deal with it “
I walk out and stomp around the Oval Office for ten minutes – I desperately want to see Tina – remind myself she is worth every hassle I get. She is worth the hassle – I love her – I have never loved or needed anyone like I need Tina Kennard. Its just hard work – I need to find out about
I have just arrived at the reception – the journey in the car with Shane was tense – she tries to chat to me but I don’t want to know. I am hurt and angry – I just don’t like the implication that Tina is a player – she isn’t . She is a sweet and loving woman and I want her.

i have to say, much as i am enjoying this story, i really can’t stand how bette is so nasty to shane and her other staff, and tina has been nasty to alice and shane as well…not thinking too much of them at the moment… they are both too self-involved and involved with each other to think of being nice people to others

I’m getting bad vibes here. It almost seems like both of them are playing with fire. At any rate I agree with bandtfan in that Tina is awesome in this story. I’m guessing Afghanistan is what made her to be such a strong person.

I love this Tina as well, she is strong, independent, assertive and agressive when need be. It’s great!! I also love the fact that Bette is not the player in this story. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Good for Shane, she is just looking sfter her friend after all. I hope Bette will understand that Shane’s intentions are good and grow out of a want to protect her feelings. Tina, what a tease…..commando huh??? Can’t wait to read your next chapter later today.
i guess it was tina who was with bette’sgirlfriend when she was killed.when bette finds out she is going to be so pissed at tina all hell is going to break off in the oval office. but tinaprobably didnt no she dating the president.
