    The Most Distant Course

Tina is in a wave of anger, while there’s no movement on her face, her hands clench tightly into fists, she’s trembling and sweating. Resisting the impulsion to kill Jodi.

How could she not know she was being set up? Henry must make the deal with Jodi earlier, then he asked her to meet him in his place, at the same time Jodi went to take care of Eric. Without the alibis, Tina cannot convince the other that she was in the clear.

Sam looks at Bette again, she is worried that the boss will lose his mind and make the unexpected move, but Bette still, lightly shaking her head and motioned her to calm down.

Sebastian Cooper Looks at the ticket, and then back to Tina, his face is stern.

“Where had you been when Eric’s death? Justine?”

“I…I was with Henry, I didn’t lie.” Tina says nervously.

“Then how did you explain this?”

Her father throws the ticket on the desk, Tina doesn’t even bother to look at it, she turns her head to Jodi.

“You said I was the one who killed Eric, fine, please explain the motivation that I need to kill Eric? Wouldn’t it be too stupid to kill another person after Carmen’s death if I really wanted to take down the six heads? Using the overdose of drugs to kill a man, anyone knows it’s highly risky and will be exposed easily. If I was going to kill him, I could just hire a sniper a shoot him straight in the head, why bother cause a lot of trouble to do so?”

Jodi smirks, she slowly pulls out a bank receipt from her side pocket.

“This is a bank transaction detail, the account on the receipt was owned by a person named Tina Kennard, someone withdrew five hundred thousand dollars from this account when Bev Priston came back from Hong Kong.”

What Jodie said cools Bette’s ardor.

The blonde slowly turned her target to Bette, the brunette just holds still for it surprisingly.

“I remember you got some money problems when you come back, Justine…? Or should I call you Tina Kennard? Ms. Kennard, I think Eric had found something for you.”

    Of course, Bette remembered.

She knew clearly that money was what Tina use to save her life, which cost Tina a large fortune for it. The number of money was so big that would certainly leave a record. Bette doesn’t know how Eric found out, but it would mean huge trouble for Tina, especially when Jodie knew about it…And now, everyone knows.

    1. Hi CJ:

      OMG, what a chapter.

You made us suffer the last post with all those hidden conversations.

So Tina knew everything from the beginning; and Bette, she never doubted of her.

Interesting end for Jodie, she was looking for it; so sad Sam has to go in that way.

Henry was also mean and stupid, he had to end like that whether by the hand of the crime empire or by the hand of the law.

Very calculated, step by step chapter, almost unbelievable, but it makes sense to me.

Now I hope you have that hidden card in your sleeve and show us soon, for a clean end.

Thanks for the wonderful story CJ.

Congratulations again for the legalization of the same-sex marriage!!!

    2. Hi CJ,

As first, Congratulations for the legalization of the same-sex marriage!!! It is amazing!!!

Wow, what a climax, Jodi and Henry got what they deserved. And Bette and Tina knew it all?! Wow again!!!

Sad that Sam had to die, but after all she did to harm and hurt Bette, she did the right thing at the end, giving her life to save Bette, because at the end Bette is the one who truly make Tina happy. Still wondering what has Sam done to Tina in the past that was so horrible?

Looking forward to the next chapter and if you still have a card to show that will ultimately lead to a happy ending for our couple.

    3. Thank you for the chapter!

So, like i assumed, fight between Bette and Tina was only trick for Jodie, well done. Next Sebastian.
And of course i hate cliffhanger like in the end of the chapter)

      Waiting for the next!

    4. Thanks for the update and for sorting out a much better and less distant course for TiBette :-)
