    The Most Distant Course

“And what did you think he found?” Tina says coldly.

Jodie smiles, she looks at his father.

“Justine said she’s the person who let someone to make the fake phone call was bullshit. Apparently, she was using this person to help her get the money and get Bev Priston out of this mess. Seems like our Justine Cooper and Bev Priston aren’t as honest as we’ve thought.”

“You are saying that Justine didn’t send anyone to call Bev?” Sebastian Cooper says in an extremely cold voice.

“No, it was Bev Priston who stole the money and hide it. Didn’t know how Justine Cooper knew about it, she withdrew the same amount of money from her secret account and covered up for her, because she knew Bev Priston was the best person selected of the drug lord, as long as she’s alive, Justine Cooper could bulldoze her whenever she needed.”

Neither of Bette and Tina imagined that they could be personally involved in such ridiculous result of the scenes they witnessed. Jodi used the shreds of evidence on hand, constructed a credible narrative. Jodi knew Bette has no proof that someone called her, or else Bette will take it out soon after she was being scammed.

Moreover. If Tina told Boss that she was testing Bette’s credit, the evidence that she withdrew five thousand dollars from the bank will certainly overthrow the rest of the story. Jodi is no wonder the former leader before Tina, with the secret that Henry held and the current circumstances of four heads being taken down, she could use only a small piece of receipt as the last straw to pull out the ending case a year ago.

No matter how Bette hate this woman, she has to admit it was a really great move.

Turns her head to Tina, her natural calmness and prudence slowly start to crumble. Jodi attacks Tina from within and outside, patiently peel off the strong armor she’s wearing.

“Well? Sis? How do you explain this?”

“These are fucking bullshit!” Tina yells out. “I’ve never done such things.”

“Are they?” Jodi sneers. “You set up Mark and Curtis, accused Carmen as the undercover, blamed her for their death, and when Eric found out your flaws? You killed him with no mercy. You’ve decided to do it long ago, didn’t you? Leading to a new company combination, switched the old heads and waiting for the day to instigate others to make you the boss!”

    1. Hi CJ:

      OMG, what a chapter.

You made us suffer the last post with all those hidden conversations.

So Tina knew everything from the beginning; and Bette, she never doubted of her.

Interesting end for Jodie, she was looking for it; so sad Sam has to go in that way.

Henry was also mean and stupid, he had to end like that whether by the hand of the crime empire or by the hand of the law.

Very calculated, step by step chapter, almost unbelievable, but it makes sense to me.

Now I hope you have that hidden card in your sleeve and show us soon, for a clean end.

Thanks for the wonderful story CJ.

Congratulations again for the legalization of the same-sex marriage!!!

    2. Hi CJ,

As first, Congratulations for the legalization of the same-sex marriage!!! It is amazing!!!

Wow, what a climax, Jodi and Henry got what they deserved. And Bette and Tina knew it all?! Wow again!!!

Sad that Sam had to die, but after all she did to harm and hurt Bette, she did the right thing at the end, giving her life to save Bette, because at the end Bette is the one who truly make Tina happy. Still wondering what has Sam done to Tina in the past that was so horrible?

Looking forward to the next chapter and if you still have a card to show that will ultimately lead to a happy ending for our couple.

    3. Thank you for the chapter!

So, like i assumed, fight between Bette and Tina was only trick for Jodie, well done. Next Sebastian.
And of course i hate cliffhanger like in the end of the chapter)

      Waiting for the next!

    4. Thanks for the update and for sorting out a much better and less distant course for TiBette :-)

Looking forward to the next Chapter in the hope that you write us a nice happy ending for my favourite couple:-) I will then forgive your latest cliffhanger :-)
