    The Most Distant Course

Tina is lying in the middle of the car, with two paramedics busying putting needles and bandage on her wounds, Bette of course, staying close to the blonde, she’s also busying, pressing hard onto her wound,  trying to stop the blood continue bleeding.

There are several machines in the car, there is one the detective recognizes, a pacemaker may be, placing next to the blonde, ready to be used anytime.

She has lost too much blood, too much that the medical workers have it all over their uniforms, the towels damp almost in a few seconds.

“What have they done to you, Tina…” Bette says while helping the medical people to adjust the apparatus. “Jesus, her fever is rising, can you give her something to bring her fever down?”

“We’ve got everything under control, okay? Don’t worry.”

A tiny voice coming out from Tina’s mouth, so small that Bette almost missed it.

    “Bette…” Tina is weeping.

“Baby, don’t worry, everything is going to be alright, I promise, I promise, okay…? Can you hurry up?” The last sentence was shouting at the driver.

    “Don’t leave…don’t…”

    “I’m here, T, I’m right here.”

Bette cups the blonde’s face, careful not to touch her wound, from Tina’s hazel eyes, she doesn’t know whether she’s conscious or not.

    “I’m not going anywhere…”

Tina makes a small smile, then slowly, her eyes close.

“Losing blood pressure, the patient is in danger.”

And a long beep appears on the monitor, Bette starts to scream.

    Washington, DC. FBI headquarters.

“Who let Tina Kennard out of this place?”

Faye Buckley yells loudly, everyone in the building all has the same horrifying look at her.

“I did.” James slowly steps out.

“Do you know what you just did? Agent? Do you know who am I?”

“Of course, Senator,” James says coldly. “I knew clearly who you are.”

“Then how dare you disobey my order!”

    “Unfortunately, I can.”

    Faye Buckley frowns.

“Senator Faye Buckley, we have confirmed that you’ve threatened the Commander of the FBI and committed federal crimes, by the authorities of the federal bureau of investigation, you are being arrested.”

“You have been charged with involvement in serious crime of the Cooper Organization, including disclosure of secret information of the investigation results and illegally hidden the criminal Shane McCutcheon.”

    Faye Buckley laughed hysterically.

“Really? Disclosure secret information of the investigation results?” The old woman laughs, then suddenly her face turns into a very scary look. “Where’s the proof? Hmm?”

James seems not afraid of this woman at all.

“We received the call from the DA Helena Peabody, she’s confirmed that you’ve illegally held the FBI evidence, which was highly classified, everything she found in your office is the proof.”

“That’s bullshit! The FBI Commander transferred the evidence to me, I have every right to touch those documents.”

“Interesting,” James says, he slightly raises up his head. “Then how come the Commander of the FBI called the DA, saying that you’ve threatened the FBI and forced Commander Kornbluth to give you those documents? Which include…the piece of message for the Commander from the counselor of Cooper organization Justine Cooper? Not only that…DA Peabody found numerous evidence in the safe of your office, which confirms that you were involved with the Dean’s and Cooper’s case…Anything you want to say? Senator?”

    Faye Buckley’s eyes open widely.

    1. Hi CJ:

Wow, what a chapter, good game played by Tina.

Thanks God,James and Bete arrived on time.

Now, we need Tina saved and healthy, and Buckley in jail forever.

Candace should be punished for attent to murder Tina, and go to make the company to her mom.

CJ, please, save Tina, don’t let her died.pleaseeee.

Thanks CJ the story is amazing.

    2. Hi CJ,

Oh god, what a incredible good chapter!!!

Tina played the game so well!!! Bye bye Senator Buckley, i hope she rots in hell in jail, along with her daughter and the Commandor Aaron! They all deserve a long time life jail sentence and not death penalty. That would be to kind for them.

Tina gets finally what she wanted since her family, mother and aunt, were killed brutally by orders from that evil bitch Faye Buckley.

I feel a little sorry for Candace, never being enough to be loved or cared by the people she had in her life, but doing everything that her mother told her, shame on her, how could she do that after she fought and worked so hard to become a captain. I know, she was so in need of the love or appreciaton from her mother that she was brainwashed. Very sad.

But the ending has me nervous, you can’t let Tina die 🙏 After all she and Bette went through they deseve to be a happy family with Noah.

      Again, a fantastic story!!!

    3. Good Chapter….so many questions answered. I was hoping that one of the bad guys would have remorse for their previous sins and treat Tina and Bette with some kind of respect and dignity. I was in hopes that Candace would be that person. Until Candace attacks Tina, she could walk away from all these misdeeds unscathed. She may could have kept her position with the LA police department. But once she attacked Tina, her fate was sealed. She is as bad as her mother and Aaron. She needs to obtain justice as well.

Tina’s condition is really serious – sounds like punctured lungs, gun shot wound, massive loss of blood, heart failure plus her chronic fight from drug addition. Healing will not come quickly. Of course, injuries this serious will involve some introduction to new pain killers during the process of healing. Tina just needs a break and some seriously good health care. And with Bette by her side, her attitude will be good and will enhance her healing. We all hope for the best for Tina and for Bette.

Oh, Surely Max Sweeney is lying about killing Shane – right? Shane is somewhere getting the proper medical care and being nursed back to health and perhaps with a new identity? Max needs to be saved as well. Maybe he can go to Canada with a new identity also.

You have me hooked on this saga….love it….look forward to the next one?
