    Summary:
    Bette and Tina have a vulnerable conversation. Secrets are revealed.

    Oh my fucking God, Bette thought. OH MY FUCKING GOD.

    Bette almost came just from the thought of Tina’s clit rubbing against hers. She could not believe she was in Tina’s arms. It felt right. This was where she belonged. 

    Bette began drawing tiny circles on the back of Tina’s hand. Tina opened her eyes and waited. Neither of them spoke for several heartbeats. 

    They basked in the glory of their embrace. 

    “Why do you like Back to the Future so much?” Bette finally asked. 

    “Hmmm…it’s just so good and I had a really big crush on Michael J. Fox back in the day,” Tina giggled.

    “Really? Michael J. Fox?”

    “Yep. He was cute and I liked the way he ran.”

    “The way he ran?”

    “Yep. Think about it…people don’t really run well in movies. Michael J Fox, Tom Cruise and Will Smith all have an art to running in movies. Tom and Will came later. When I was young, it was Michael J. Fox. Great runner. And he was funny.”

    “You’re serious?”

    “About the running?”

    “Mmmm.”

    “I’m totally serious. Next time we will watch Bad Boys and you will see what I mean about how Will Smith runs. It’s art in motion.”

    Bette shook her head. Tina could tell she was smiling. 

    “How did I not know that? Michael J. Fox? Wow.”

    Tina giggled. 

    “I also love this movie because it reminds me of my grandmother.”

    “Your grandmother?” Bette turned her head slightly so she could look back up at Tina. 

    It took everything within Tina not to lean down and kiss Bette on the lips. Their eyes connected. Bette’s twinkled. There was so much love in Tina’s eyes. Bette couldn’t help but see it.

    “Yeah. It was one of those movies that drew me in as a teenager. The idea of time travel was fascinating to me and to my grandmother. We often talked about what we would do, where in time we would go if time travel was a possibility.” 

    “I didn’t know that. That’s sweet.”

    “It really was. I wish you could’ve met her. She was amazing.”

    “She would’ve been okay with…us?”

    Us, Tina thought. 

    “I’d like to think she would’ve been. She always wanted me to be happy. And you make me happy.”

      Exquisite writing, honestly! I’d like to say so much more, and analyze more but simply do not have enough words as a non-native EN speaker. I could just die and go to heaven with this story of yours.
