    Hello Tina!

    Welcome to your destination! I trust by now you have received my final gift to you. What you do with it now is up to you. I know you have not seen Bette in over five years and things are awkward right now so I made sure that you both had separate sleeping quarters in the cabin. The cabin itself is a duplex. You and Angelica will have one side with two bedrooms and a private bath and Bette will have the other side, You both will share the living room and kitchen area.

    For the first outing at the park it will be just you and Angelica. After that if you feel comfortable in where things are going with Bette then you can include her on your adventures. I will make it clear to her that it will be up to you. I have a feeling though that after tomorrow you will want to include Bette with you and Angelica but be warned–Bettenezer Scrooge is likely to surface at any moment and will but a damper on your holiday mood.

    For now though, you all get situated and familiar with the cabin. There was a good snow fall last night so plenty of fresh powder for you, Angelica, and even Bettenezer Scrooge (if she isn’t too Bah Humbugish) to make a snowman!

    I laughed out loud at the Secret Santa calling Bette Bettenezer Scrooge. Bette gave me a look but then she shifted her eyes back to her letter and I chuckled lightly before I got in the back of the jeep with Angie.

     

    Bette:

    I have no idea what Tina was laughing at because I haven’t found any of these letters remotely funny. Anyway I lost my place in the letter so I’m starting back over at the beginning.

    Hello Bettenezer!

    I trust you love your gift I have given you. It took me a long time to find her but I did. I continued searching long after you had given up. So no need for thanks. Just work that Porter charm!

    Now for a little housekeeping. You are all staying in a cabin together but too avoid any awkwardness I chose a duplex. Tina and Angelica will have one side with two bedrooms and you will have the other. You will have your own bath and will share the kitchen and living room. And due to the restriction placed on your license (yes it was naughty of me not to tell you about that) you will not have any alcohol there at the cabin. Well anywhere for that matter. Life is grand isn’t it Bettenezer!
