    ”We can talk tonight ok? I’ll let you know when everything is ready” I say quickly and leave because I am struggling fighting back tears. Bette: I sigh as I wanted to take her in my arms and hold her. I mean it’s all my fault she left me because of my indiscretion with Candace.

    I sigh as I wanted to take her in my arms and hold her. I mean it’s all my fault she left me because of my indiscretion with Candace. I can’t hate her even when I hear about Angelica. I need Tina in my life and I already feel myself bonding with Angelica. The way she looks at me and hugs me it’s like she already loves me. I feel my Scrooge/Grinch heart swell and I’m tingling all over. I chuckle thinking about that crazy ass Santa person and just as I think about he/she I see a letter with my name on it.

    ”Great. Another letter to add to the bonfire” I say cheerfully as I walk over to the table, grab the letter and sit on the side of the bed to read it.

    Hello again so soon Bettenezer!

    I hope this letter finds you settling into your comfy quarters as I’m sure you are!

    Rest up tonight Bettenezer! You will need your strength as this task will involve making Angelica happy so I know you will not let that sweet little girl down.

    When you wake up in the morning you are to go out to the shed to the right of the cabin and grab the axe there and pull the sled sitting next to the shed with you. Follow the trail with red ribbons tied to the trees which will lead you eventually to some wild Douglas-Fir trees. Pick one and chop it down. Use the sled to tie it down and drag it back to the cabin.

    Now don’t give me that scowl that I perfected in my picture of you. This is for Angelica. I need to deliver presents on Christmas Eve and it would be better to have a tree to put them under.

    Anyway. Once you get the tree back to the cabin there is a stand for you to put the tree up in the hall closet next to the living room. There are also ornaments, and trimmings in there for you Angelica, and Tina to decorate the tree with when they get back.

      By the way I’m a Sassy Great Gran now and have a very sassy 2 year old keeping her GG firmly on her toes and I think she could audition for your wonderful Angelica!
