”Oh Tee. I’m sorry” she says and I chuckle which causes her to give me a perplexed look.
”Bette. You didn’t do anything wrong. You called me Tee. I missed that. I missed you and that kiss-My God that kiss was waking places that have been dormant for years but I just think we need to slow down. Take things slow. I hope you are ok with that” I ask as she chuckles and smiles that million dollar smile at me.
”Of course. I admit that I was about to take you right here on this sofa and be dammed if Angie walked in on us. But I can wait. You are so worth waiting for” She says and places a soft kiss on my lips then pulls away. ”I need to take a cold shower now”
We both laugh as I nod my head in agreement as she stands up and pulls me up with her.
”Bette? Would you like to go with us tomorrow to the park. Forget what the Secret Santa said. I want you there with us. I know Angie does.” I ask and want her to be with us every minute we are here now
But then I see her shake her head
”I can’t Tee. That fucking Santa twit has me doing a task while you and Angie are at the park. It’s more for Angie and I want to do it for her. You will see it what is when you both get back”
I chuckle and nod then give her a kiss on her cheek.
”Ok then. I can’t wait to see what it is. I guess I’m going to go get a cold shower myself and turn in” I say as she holds my hands in hers. It feels so nice.
”Thank you for this second chance. I promise you will not regret it”
”Thank you for giving me one” I say and with one final kiss we both release our hands and go into our bedrooms smiling back at each other before I see her disappear into her side of the duplex.
”Thank you Secret Santa for making my wish come true. I owe you a life for giving mine back to me” I say as I enter the bathroom ready to get that cold shower.

Thank you for getting this chapter done so quickly. I just want them to get back together very soon. I like your writing style and your sense of humor which adds so much to the story. Am still trying to guess on Secret Santa’s identity.

Angelica is such a lovely girl, how can not everyone love her.
They talked a little and want to try again, wonderful news, but they need more talking to make sure that they won’t fall back in the same behaviours as before.
