    I stand on the steps waiving at Tina and Angie as they leave in the jeep with the Ranger on their way to the amusement park. Angie was not happy to learn that I wasn’t going but when she heard I had a surprise for her she suddenly was ok with me not going with them now.

    I laugh as I head back into my bedroom and I am beaming from ear to ear at Tina and I starting over again. I don’t think anything could damper my mood until I turn to see another letter with my name on it. How in the hell did that get there I wonder as I open it and begin to read.

    Good Morning Bettenezer!

    It’s a beautiful day to chop down the perfect tree and don’t forget to wear your lumberjack outfit . I will know if you wear it or not so don’t try to pull a fast one. I’m watching! I am Santa after all!

    So don’t delay. Go get dressed, grab the axe and the sleigh and put your tree cutting ability on display.

    Wow that rhymed! I was a poet and didn’t know it. Because I rhyme every time.

    Well looky looky. I just did it again. Your Secret Santa has many talents Bettenezer. You should be so lucky! Now enough chit chat. Time to go get that tree!

    Your Secret Santa

    ”You are seriously deranged. The only talent you have Santa is the ability to piss me off” I grumble as I throw the note with the others and open up the closet in my bedroom.

    I stare at the lumberjack outfit and slowly begin to demoralize myself by putting on this hideous garb.

    Once I finish tying up the lace to my boots and put on the ridiculous hat I look in the mirror.

    I look like a fucking checker board from hell” I mumble as I head out to the shed and grab the axe and look around for some gloves

    ”Damn it! You could have left me some gloves you fat bastard. Now I’m going to get fucking blisters on my hands from holding this axe while chopping down the tree. I’m really glad Tina and Angie aren’t here to see this. They would be laughing their asses off” I grumble as I head out with rope and grab the rope attached to the sled and start dragging it behind me

      Angelica is such a lovely girl, how can not everyone love her.

      They talked a little and want to try again, wonderful news, but they need more talking to make sure that they won’t fall back in the same behaviours as before.
