    Mama B and Mama laugh again  ”I can’t believe Kit owns the Planet. I have so much to catch up on. I’m sorry I stayed away so long Bette. I really wanted to come back so many times. I was just so scared” Mama says and I hear her sniffle. Oh no. I don’t want

    Mama B and Mama laugh again 

    ”I can’t believe Kit owns the Planet. I have so much to catch up on. I’m sorry I stayed away so long Bette. I really wanted to come back so many times. I was just so scared” Mama says and I hear her sniffle. Oh no. I don’t want her to cry. I hate it when she cries.

    I crawl in her lap and hug her ”Please don’t cry Mama. I love you”

    Oh no. I hear Mama B crying now so turn my head and reach out my arm pulling her to me and Mama. ”Please don’t cry Mama B. I love you too”

    Great! Two grown ups crying and they are getting my shirt all wet with their noses dripping and eyes watering. I don’t know what else to do but pat their backs and I feel the car come to a stop. Oh good. That got them to stop crying.

     

    Bette:

    As I wipe my tears away I can’t help but look at Angie as she gets out of the cab. She is such a sweet, caring, compassionate child. She truly gets all of those traits from Tina. I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I am to have both of them in my life. A new year is upon us and my New Year’s Resolution is to make Tina and Angie feel loved and happy every day for as as long as I am breathing.

    I look over at Tina who is standing there staring at the house she called home for so many years. I can’t imagine what emotions are going through her mind right now. I know she is overwhelmed. 

    ”Tee? Are you ok?” I ask and she barely nods as Angie grabs her hand for comfort. 

    Again I am blown away at Angie’s perceptiveness. She is so in tune to people’s emotions it really is amazing to see.

    I walk up behind Tina and Angie as the taxi drives off. I look over and see that Shane and Jenny are home and although I want to surprise them with Tina tonight I have a feeling they will beat down the door when they see the lights on so those two will be in on the surprise before the others.

    2. Thanks so much for finishing this story. Without giving away any spoilers I enjoyed how it all ended. I really laughed at the humorous notes SS had left for them at the appropriate moments. Bette could sure be a cynic, alcohol or not.. Thanks again and I look forward for more Bette and Tina stories as they are my fave couple of all time.

    3. So happy for this final chapter. Loved that they are back together and can continue the love they have for each other and by doing so giving Angie a family. Great story. What about an epilogue for this lovely story. I know, never satisfied. Thanks for posting.

      So, maybe epilog – because B&T have many things to resolve between them and look to the future will be interesting.
