Angelica: Everyone keeps leaving me.

Angelica continue to whimper as she grabbed a hold of the agent hand and walked away. Once they were out of sight, Kit broke down. Hearing Angelica saying that everyone was leaving her, tore her apart. Not only was Kit crying, but the deputy broke down in tears as well. Although he had seen so much as a police officer, tragedies involving kids so young as Angelica was still more than anyone could bare. This poor child just couldn’t catch a break.

Back in the car, both women rode home in silence. They were stunned. Kit dropped a bomb on them that no one ever thought could be possible. Once they made it back to the cabin, Bette walked in and went straight to the bedroom and slammed the door. Tina thought about following behind her but she knew Bette needed some space. Tina sat on the couch not knowing what to do next. After a few hours, she finally fell asleep.

The next day.

Tina woke from laying on the couch, she rubbed her eyes and looked over at Bette who was sitting at the kitchen table. By the look on Bette’s face,Tina could tell that she was still upset. Tina walked over and took a seat next to Bette.

Tina: Hey.

Bette: Hey.

Bette said while staring at the newspaper, drinking a cup of coffee.

Tina: Bette we need to talk about this.

Bette: I don’t want to talk about anything right now Tina, especially not anything that has to do with Kit.

Tina: Bette eventually we will have to discuss this.

Bette: Tina, Angelica is NOT Kit’s daughter.

Tina: Why would she lie?

Bette: I don’t know!

Bette quickly left the table and walked into the living room.

Tina: Don’t fucking yell at me Bette, I’m just saying that running away from this won’t change the fact that she is Kit’s daughter.

Bette chuckle to herself.

Bette: A few hours ago you said she was our daughter Tina, don’t you see how fucking nutcase all of you guys sound. Am I the only sane one here. Kit is just probably drunk out of her mind, she doesn’t have a fucking daughter.

Tina: So you think I’m a nutcase?
