Tina: Hey Kit.

Tina said shocked to see Kit at their front door. She looked at her for a moment then glanced around hoping to see Angelica with her or in the car, but she was no where in sight.

Kit: Hey Tina, can I come in?

Tina: Of course.

Kit nervously walked inside the house just as Bette was coming from around the corner heading into the kitchen. Bette looked at Kit and immediately turned away to walk back to the bedroom until Kit called out to her.

Kit: Bette please, don’t go. I need to talk to you.

Bette: I don’t want to hear it Kit.

Kit: Please baby sis, I missed you like crazy, Angelica misses you.

Bette stopped after hearing Angelica’s name. As angry as she were, she did however wanted to know how the little girl was doing.

Kit: You have every right to be upset Bette, I never would have wanted you to find out this way.

Bette turned to look at Kit, you could see the hurt in her eyes. She walked over to the couch and took a seat.

Bette: What do you want Kit?

Kit: To explain everything, but I need you to have an open mind. This is hard for me Bette.

Bette: Fine.

Kit: First off, I want to apologize for never telling you about Angie.

Bette: Where is she now?

Kit: At daycare.

Bette: So it’s true, you really are her mother?

Kit: Yes. And the judge granted me full custody over her.

Tina closed her eyes, feeling the sadness filled her heart. Although she was happy Angelica was safe, her dream of having Angie as their daughter, was never going to happen. Tina was sitting down next to Bette, across from Kit, and the look of sadness on Tina’s face after Kit mentioned the custody, didn’t go unnoticed to Kit.

Bette: I just don’t understand Kit, how can this be possible? I never seen you pregnant or even looking pregnant, I can’t comprehend all of this so make me understand.

Kit: Remember when I went on tour?

Bette: Yeah.

Kit: And I was gone for seven months?

Bette: So you got pregnant then, but it takes nine months to have a child.
