“Did you contact Ms. Kennard to verify that she had indeed authorized the request?” Ms. Villa continued the line of questioning.
Everyone in the room could see that Andy was getting visibly nervous. He had agreed to join the meeting but hadn’t expected to be questioned by lawyers. “No Ms. Villa, I did not…but to be honest I’m getting a bit concerned of the implications of answering these questions. Maybe I should consult a lawyer first.”
“That’s your prerogative Mr. Bosher. You are under no obligation to answer any questions now, but you will certainly be subpoenaed later. We would appreciate your voluntary cooperation, but we can terminate this call right now if you think you need legal representation.”
“No, it’s fine. I will continue.” Andy thought better of setting himself up as a hostile witness.
“Thank you.” Ms Villa continued. “I’m sure that you are aware that Ms. Kennard is being accused by Aaron Kornbluth and Kate Arden of orchestrating the theft of these negatives. We have seen copies of the faxes that your labs received. Ms. Kennard has denied sending them, but she does agree that the stationary and signature appear legitimate. You had no reason to suspect otherwise, except that your last conversation with Ms. Kennard confirmed that she’d arranged for the developed negatives from both labs would be delivered to the studio within the next few weeks. I know if one of my biggest accounts was pulling their business without explanation I would certainly be on the phone to find out why.”
“Yes, of course I was concerned. Shaolin-Peabody is one of our most important clients. If there was any dissatisfaction with the labs I wanted to address it immediately as to retain the business.”
“But you didn’t call me Andy.” Tina interjected. “Instead you called Aaron. Why is that? Sally seems to think that you’re a little afraid of me; that you went to Aaron for some insight on how to approach me. Is that your excuse?” Tina asked in a deliberate tone that said if you think you had something to fear before just wait until I unleash ‘bitch Tina’ on your ass.
“Well it’s true that Aaron and I are friends. I have reached out to him on occasion for insight but I’m hardly afraid of you Ms. Kennard. I wouldn’t be very effective in my job if I couldn’t talk directly to my clients and handle their accounts. The only reason I contacted Aaron first was because he asked me to.”

To go thru all that she has and still believe that some people are trustworthy and to find out they are not was truly the eye-opener TINA needed to see.TINA came into that ring and bitch slapped those three stooges(larry,curly,and moe)like she was MMA. She showed up and showed out,YES!!.Thinking she would go down without a fight was a HUGE mistake .A woman who stood to lose not only her good name and livelihood but a career she neglected her family for in the process is a dangerous adversary if crossed and that is the one crucial element they forgot to take into account.Now on to the next thrilling episode of TINA and the three stooges.GET’EM.Worth the wait and then some.THANKS,ps.

Left a comment Sunday night, don’t know what happened to it. Said it posted, evidently not. Had said that I agree totally with “dunnthat.” Liked the chapter a lot and you know how much I like Tina, especially when she is ticked off. Just glad she was able to keep her cool and scared the hell out of all those a–holes. With her parting shot at them they don’t know what to think now. Hopefully Bettes’ investigator and attorney can find eric and slap them all in jail. Maybe now one of them will slip up and make that one mistake that will catch them all. For some damned reason they don’t think Tina is smart enough to filter the clues. Hope they can put all of them so far back in a cell, daylight will have to be piped to them. The crooked S.O.B.’s. Thanks for the chapter. Waiting not too patiently for the next one.

I am distraught that the story has no finish!
Sharon, I realize it’s been a couple of years but this story hasn’t been laid to rest yet. I will be back with a conclusion. I just got distracted with another story called Daddy that was on my heart so I had to write it. Thank you for the poke. I will see where I am and revive it soon.

Please, please write a Conclusion for us even if you make it an Epilogue!

Hi BAT2012, I have been rereading a lot of great fiction about B & T and came across yours. I immediately remembered this one. It’s been 3 almost 4 years since you’ve posted. I got myself all fired up and then was left without closure. Please I need to know how Kate, Eric, Mark, and William get caught, and how Bette, Tina, Alex, and the rest of the family deal with the fallout. How does life get better when they get back to their day to day lives? I am still reading the rest of your work, but would love to see this one come to fruition. Please post soon.
