THE VAMPIRE AND THE SLAYER- Chapter 6: THE PYTHONESS

Carmen: “how so?”
Shane: “It was an art exhibition, we were closing and a pack of vampires broke in the place; we were lucky that Bette and Helena wore some silver and gold jewels and that scared away some of those beasts, that helped us; but not everybody was so lucky, we lost a friend, James, and one of the artists, Marcus.”
Carmen: “were they killed?”
Shane: “no, well at least not until that moment, James and Marcus ran in a different direction than us, we tried to find them, but… so far, we had no luck.”
Carmen: “maybe they are vamps, I mean evil vamps.”
Shane: “I hope not…, but who knows.”
Carmen: (looking expectant) “it’s cold here.”
Shane: “yeah…, wanna cuddle in my sleeping bag?”
Carmen: “yes, please.”
Carmen lay close to Shane, but she was still shivering. The thin brunette wrapped the Latina girl with one arm and turned toward her.
Shane: “there is a wooden blanked in the corner, we could cover the sleeping bag with that…, though the best way to keep warm is to keep our naked skin in contact”
Carmen: (smiling) “is that true, or you’re making it up?”
Shane: (smiling back) “it’s true…, we could try”
Carmen: “are you sure…”
Shane: “I want it…, don’t you?”
Carmen: “yeah…, very much.”
Shane kissed the Latina and slipped his hand under Carmen’s sweater unfastened the bra, while the Latina unzipped Shane’s pants. Soon both girls were naked and Shane was on top engulfing one of Carmen’s breasts.
In the other tent, Dana and Lara were getting ready for their bedrolls.
Dana: “it’s still cold even with the campfire.”
Lara: “yup, that’s why we have the big blanket; we could put our beds close and cover with the same blanket.”
Dana: “are you used to this cold?”
Lara: “I’m not from here if that’s what you mean, but I have been around for a while.”
Dana has been studying Lara since they met; the red hair was tall, beautiful, and very nice.
Dana: “really! How long living here?”
Lara: “almost four years, but I have come and gone to other places where other witches needed me.”
Lara didn’t want to talk more about her.
Lara: “tell me, Dana, you’re the famous tennis player, the Fairbanks girl, right?”

Alice… Alice…. no one promised to make you human again. They purposed that they would make your life better – stronger, and abilities to escape some of the problems of being a vampire… but they never suggested that they could cure you… so as Phyllis say – take the offer or leave it.. Sounds like an improvement of your current life to me. So I’d go with the flow and accept this ritual….
Thanks for the update… look forward to more.
