Bette sighs “Yeah Tee. It’s just. Well..She’s not my little Bug anymore.  She’s a grown woman now with a job and a fiancé. I am happy for them I really am.  Morgan is perfect for Angie and will treat her well and Angie will take care of her” she says and  stops chopping to turn around her wife’s arms. “I just hope they treasure each other. weather the storms they may face together and not make the mistakes we did Tee”

Tina smiles and gives Bette and soft lingering kiss. She pulls Bette closer to her

“If it weren’t for going through the things we did all those years ago I don’t think we could be where we are today.  That may be horrible to say but look at us now.  We have been happily married for 22 years”

Bette kissed Tina softly on the lips “And I’m more in love with you now than I was the day I met you”

Tina smiled “Me too” she replied staring intently into Bette’s eyes

Bette’s cellphone interrupted their love gaze. She turned her head to the counter and reached over to see who was calling

“Oh look Babe. It’s our problem child “Bette announces chuckling

“Well..You did give birth to him” Tina giggled

“Hey now!  I was not a problem child” Bette countered looking insulted

Tina rolled her eyes and gave Bette a quick kiss “Sure you weren’t Babe.  Well it must be important if he is calling this early” she says watching Bette answer

“Hey Bub”

“Hey” he says hesitantly and  it alerts Bette something is wrong. She puts presses the speaker button for Tina to hear

“You’re on speaker with both of us” she says with nothing but silence on the other ends “ Oh God..What did you do?” Bette asks not ready to hear the answer

“Uh..Well…Uh?” he stutters and Bette stares at Tina who was waiting nervously for Hayden to speak

“Spit it out” Tina says motioning to the phone

“Lexie is pregnant!”

“What?!” Tina and Bette yell in unison

“Hayden Kennard-Porter!. What did you just say?” Bette questioned as she and Tina

stared flabbergasted at each other

“I said Lexie is pregnant”
