Oh what a night!
Aiight baby girl, Kit broke the silence, whats on your mind? And dont say nuthin cause youve been checking your watch damn near since we got here.
Bette jumped at the sound of Kits voice. Huh? I did what?
See you dont even know what I said, Kit snapped. I said, whats on your mind. You aint hardly paid attention all night.
Embarrassed by the truth, Bette excused herself to the ladies room leaving Kit even more lost than before by Bettes distance. Kit finished her meal and ate what she liked from Bettes plate; it was obvious that she wasnt going to finish it anyway.
Im sorry for that, Bette sat back down and pushed the plate aside. Its just been one of those days.
One of those days my *****, Kit said curtly. Girl, dont you know I can tell when youre lying, she continued without regard for her tone.
Kit! Bette fussed and looked around to see if anyone was listening. That wasnt nice to say.
Kit rolled her neck, then what should I have said? She rhetorically asked. Bette, did you invite me to dinner because you had nothing better to do?
Strike two!
Bette felt the words hit home. Im sorry Kit, Im just a little distracted right now, Bette reached her hand to Kits hoping to keep the peace.
Well, thats obvious.
I didnt mean to be so distant. I hope I didnt ruin your dinner.
Kit looked at her plate and then at Bettes and chuckled. Does this empty plate look like you ruined my dinner? *****, look at your plate; you didnt eat all that.
Yeah, I guess I am pretty out of it huh? Bette said in a solemn tone.
Kit eased her seat closer to Bettes, what the matter baby sis? Talk to me.
You remember Rayne Bryant right? Kit nodded. She told me to tell you hi.
How sweet. Tell her I said hi too. Is thats what has you in a tizzy?
Bette let out a faint laugh, no, but shes a part of why Im a little out of it, Bette confessed.

Your writing is good, the story is good, but Nya with Tina is too sweet for me, and it’s clear you like Bette about as much as Jaded.
First 5 stars for you.
Can I see Rayne as a sort of teacher for Bette ? Bette needs to understand that she can’t have all she wants and if it’s difficult to understand it, it’s more difficult, perhaps painful to accept it. Is Rayne so good that Bette totally forgets Tina ? I love Bette but sometimes she can be the person I don’t like.
And I love Tina and Nya together because Nya seems giving some joy in Tina’s life.

Am dancing around the room. Notheing and then two fabulous new chapter.
You have captured the love between Nya and Tina. Sweet thangs that they are. Still think that they are too alike for it to last. They need some tension to bring out the best in each other.
And as for Bette, brillant the way Kit is smacking her up inside her head and trying to knock some sense it. The time is ripe for Bette to see and admit her selfish ways then she can grow and make her way back to her one true soulmate Tina.
As always am exstatic by your posts. Am ready for the next post to see where this rollercoast will go next.

When will make Bette truly human and apologetic instead of the selfish twat you’ve portrayed for countless chapters now? First you have Tina and the gang (including her sister) point out her obvious flaws, now you have some new love interest doing the same. Why the Bette beating? Yeah, she’s no saint when it came to the affair, but neither is Tina or anyone else in this world. Sorry, but all this Bette hating is really hard to stomach after 83 chapters and you don’t have any plans on changing your opinions of her. Whatever, dude.
Hey Blu glad to see you are back in business ;0) I’m sitting quietly here in the shadow still enjoying the show you’ve put on. Frankly speaking I have pass that stage waiting to see if the B&T story line getting back together will materialize LOL. Personally I think your buildup is rock solid. You’ve pen it in such a manner that all the signs are up um hmm… not your “UNDER CONSTRUCTION†sign LOL instead you put up the “ROAD CLOSED†sign as far as B&T getting back together is concern which is fine by me cuz like I say your buildup supports this direction. But I sense something amiss though I don’t know how quite to put this. Seems to me you are making things between Nya and Tina way too sweet. I’m talking saccharine sweet here I feel something is missing it’s like these two are way too polite to each other. Perhaps it’s just me, perhaps I am trying too hard to read between the lines LOL or something and if you are wondering, NO I am not feeling this because the loving is between Tina and Nya not Bette. It’s not like I need convincing that Tina is really now seeing and taking Nya seriously it’ just that I have this nagging feeling that you are hiding something and just for this I can’t wait to see what you have in store next.
