Tina – Me too, Jim! Me too …

Bette Porter Gallery, afternoon: Bette enters her office as James places the crate against the wall.
Bette – What is this?
James – That’s it, Bette! The post office package. I could swear that it is the same crate we just shipped to your sister.
She frowns.
Bette – Thanks, James!
He leaves. She approaches the crate and retrieves an envelope attached to it. She reads the card inside.
“Per our agreement, it is yours until I break up with you. T.”
She raises her eyebrows.
Bette – Fuck! Are you kidding me?!
James shows up at the open door.
James – Did you call, Bette?
She sighs upset.
Bette – This is the fucking painting we shipped!
He looks worried.
James – What happened? Did I misspell the address?
Bette – No! She sent it back!
James – Kit?! Why?
Bette – No!
She brings a hand to her forehead and massages it.
James – Do you want me to ship it back?
Bette – No!
James – Should I open it?
Bette – No!
He winces.
James – I can put it in the storage room … if you want.
Bette – Go ahead …
He grabs the crate and walks out. She sits down and closes her eyes, looking upset.

Western Sky Ranch, afternoon: Tina leaves the stable toward the valley trotting away on Minnie, with Charlie following them tied to Minnie’s saddle by a long rope. Jim watches them with a smile. Wendy watches them from her trailer and walks up to Jim.
Wendy – Hi, Jim!
Jim – Hi, Miss Wendy!
Wendy – What is Tina doing with Bette’s horse?
Jim – Oh … he is hurt! I asked if she could help exercise him without weight on his back. It’s nice of her to take him along.
Wendy – Where is Bette?
Jim – She is back in San Francisco.
She nods.

Bette Porter Gallery, afternoon: Bette is at her desk, looking pensive.
Bette – James?
He appears at the door. She grabs the car keys inside her purse.
Bette – Do me a favor, James … put the crate inside my car.

Still don’t like Tina’s side of story about break up – like it’s all Bette fault (what you expected – you telling her it’s break or break up and that you don’t even have time to discuss the situation, and you don’t even know how long break can be. Of course Bette chose break up in that condition). But Tina might have some points for Charlie.
And i like all situation with painting!

In the chapter i fell most sorry for Bette and of course for Charlie. But not for Tina – it’s her fault and she needs to fix it. And with Charlie she did a good job i must say.
But i have a feeling that Alice did very bad favour when she tell Helena about Tibette break up.

I agree with you, Bette has a lot of layers and i would love to see that you show us her side and vulnerabilities.
Hmm, Tina, i don’t agree 100% with her side of the story about their break up. It sounds to me like she put the blame on Bette’s to much. I can understand why Tina made the decision to put a hold on their relationship but the way she made that decision known to Bette was pretty harsh and Bette didn’t get a chance to react anyway.
On a lighter note, i loved that Tina send the picture back!!! And Bette talking and muttering to herself and to the painting.!!!
Alice, when will she learn to keep her mouth shut!!! Helena is going to try to seduce Tina now. The utter bitch.
I will try to be patient and let the story play out, but please, please don’t let Tina fall in Helena’s arms?!

But from the other side – if Helena make a move on Tina – we can saw if Tina genuine want to reestablish her relationship with Bette or she worry only about a money. It’s maybe good test for Tina
You do have a point, but i can’t stand Helena, never did and never will do.

Great Chapter. Lol very cute with the painting…and Tina chasing Charlie was funny..glad she didn’t lose him.. their both thinking of each other so the love is not gone.. both just need to step back and figure this out..Tina should push Helena on wendy.. but i have a feeling that brat will sniff Helena out all on her own.. make her forget about Bette… time will tell..thank you.. waiting for more.
