Charlie snorts. From her spot, the blonde turns to steal a look at the interaction between woman and horse. It’s definitely true what they say: a horse is a cowboy’s best friend. The woman treats her horse with tenderness while being an ass to another woman.

A golf cart approaches the gate from inside the property and the brunette walks toward it. As she passes by the blonde, she stops.

Cowgirl – Jim is the mechanic around here. I would advise you to not reject his help.

She smirks and walks away. The blonde takes a peek at the man as he steps out of the cart and squeezes through a small gap on the side of the gate to greet the cowgirl. He is tall and in his sixties. Just as soon, her eyes focus on the cowgirl. She is almost as tall as the man … long legs inside tight jeans. She is wearing a flannel shirt as tight as the jeans, folded up to show toned arms. The brunette takes off her hat and long curls fall down on her shoulders and back. She is a beautiful woman by all accounts … in her late twenties or early thirties … with an elegant stance … but so arrogant! And she is also going to the ranch! The blonde knows that she is not the ranch owner. Who is she? A cowgirl … but so elegant! A ranch worker? But how arrogant! She sighs, hoping that the brunette does not work there. The cowgirl talks to the man as the blonde watches with curiosity.

Cowgirl – Morning, Jim!

Jim – Howdy, Missy! What do we have here?

Cowgirl – Be careful with that one. She bites!

He chuckles.

Jim – Quite pretty! What did you do to this one?

The woman raises her hands wide open.

Cowgirl – Don’t even know her!

Jim – One of those things …

She smiles.

Cowgirl – One of those things …

Jim – I don’t recall seeing her before.

Cowgirl – Probably another tourist.

Jim – That you don’t care for.

She smirks and turns toward the cart.

Cowgirl – I’m going to take off. Would you please bring Charlie? I’ll be at the stable.

Jim – Sure!
