Giuliana – Thank you!
Brits had never been on her radar … until now. She could definitely go for a tall cup of English tea.
Helena – I hear that you spent time in Europe.
Giuliana – Yes, I love Europe! I was in Italy most of the time, where I got the inspiration for these pieces.
Helena – I see …
She frowns.
Helena – You look familiar to me. I have had this feeling since I first saw you. Have we ever met?
Giuliana – I don’t think so.
Helena – Sono andato a Milano otto mesi fa per la settimana della moda femminile.
Giuliana – Sfortunatamente, ero a Roma e Firenze. E certamente mi ricorderei di te.
They smile at each other.
Giuliana – Are you from London?
Helena – Yes … but I prefer Paris these days.
Giuliana – How can one not love Paris?
She smiles, thinking that a tall glass of champagne suits her just fine.
Helena – It is exactly how I feel!
She returns the smile.
Giuliana – So, how did you find out about the exhibit?
Helena – I am a client of Bette Porter’s. I have bought many interesting pieces from her.
Giuliana – Sculptures or paintings?
Helena – I like both!
Giuliana – Excellent! Maybe you will find something you like today.
The English woman smiles charmingly.
Helena – I believe I already have! I am looking into acquiring “La Ragazza Misteriosa.”
Giuliana grins.
Jule – I think it will be perfect for you!
She now has the perfect excuse to invite the mysterious Brit for a drink … to celebrate the sale … and to solve her mystery!
Helena – Very well … I think this sculpture goes well with my most recent acquisition … the center piece of Bette’s “Women” exhibit.
The sculptor raises her eyebrows.
Giuliana – Ahh …
Helena – “The L Word” … have you seen it? It is exquisite!
Giuliana – Have I?!
Green light! – she thinks – while gazing into Helena’s eyes.
Giuliana – I now know where you first saw me.

Beautiful loved the talk and walk with Bette and Tina. It was so loving and sweet. Love that Minnie and Charlie had a baby.. so cute.. all Tina’s fault… she was pining way for Bette while those two were taking advantage of their time alone lol.. glad Kit has her kids ranch open…Helen and Bette sceconds..lol.. hope they will be happy together lol..
