Brian – Action!
Filming starts. The redhead trots her horse to the front of the house and dismounts. She makes her way to the porch when Bette suddenly opens the door and comes out of the house.
Brian – Cut!
The crew laughs. Tina sighs. The brunette looks surprised. Wendy smiles and extends her hand to her.
Wendy – Hi, I’m Wendy!
Bette shakes her hand.
Bette – Bette.
Brian walks up to the porch.
Brian – And I’m Brian! Nice to meet you!
They shake hands.
Bette – Nice to meet you too.
The blonde walks up to the porch.
Tina – Morning!
Bette – What’s going on?
Brian – We are filming some scenes at the door.
Wendy – I’m supposed to arrive and enter the house!
Bette – Nobody told me.
Tina – No problem! We’ll do another take.
She turns to Brian.
Tina – Shall we?
Brian – Uh-huh!
He turns to Bette.
Brian – It was a pleasure meeting you!
Bette – Same here.
He returns to his chair, giving instructions to the crew. Bette turns to Wendy and smiles charmingly.
Bette – Aren’t you … Wendy Taylor?
The actress returns the smile.
Wendy – Yeah!
Bette – I saw you in a party last year … at Melissa Etheridge’s home.
Wendy – Ahh … are you friends with Melissa?
Bette – Friend of a friend.
Wendy – What a shame that we were not introduced … I’d certainly remember!
Bette – Congratulations on your Emmy!
Wendy – Thanks! Are you the ranch owner?
Bette – Yes.
Wendy – Wow! I had pictured an old ugly man!
The brunette chuckles.
Bette – Slightly off …
Wendy smiles charmingly.
Wendy – Totally off! Beautiful owner and beautiful property!
Bette – Thanks!
Tina watches the interaction with surprise. She turns to the actress.
Tina – Let’s start again, Wendy?
Bette – Well, let me get out of here then!
Wendy – See you later, Bette!
Bette – See you, Wendy!
She puts on her hat and makes her way to the stable with long, elegant strides. Wendy and Tina watch her.
Wendy – She is so … nice!
The blonde turns to her.
Tina – Surprisingly!

Ranch stable, afternoon: Bette is working with Danny, a man in his 20’s, on fixing the fence in one of the corrals behind the stable. They remove some old posts and rails, using hammers, a saw and brute force sometimes, and replace them with new ones.
