Bette – Whose fault is it?

Tina – Nobody’s …

Bette – Huh! Magical forces of nature?

Tina – Love is a powerful force of nature! Clearly, the horses can’t stay away from each other.

Bette – Love?!

She laughs.

Bette – Clearly you haven’t grown up around animals. This has nothing to do with love. It’s about mating!

Tina – And I’m sure you know all about mating …

She says, slightly turning back with a mischievous smile.

Tina – … and nothing about love. She mutters, turning back around.

Bette – I heard you! As if you know anything about me.

Tina – Your paintings and your flirtations with women tell the whole story.

She smirks.

Tina – No wonder the horse is just like the owner!

The brunette smiles.

Bette – We are more than fine when you and your naughty mare are not around!

Tina – And we are superbly fine when you and your seductive stud are not around!

Bette – Good! How about we stay away from each other?

Tina – Great!

As they reach the boulder, Tina approaches Charlie.

Tina – Hi, pretty boy! She can’t stay away from you, can she? It’s because you’re so handsome!

Bette watches the blonde’s tenderness as she caresses the horse’s face. Tina turns to Minnie.

Tina – Hi, beauty! I told you I’d be back soon!

Bette – After your beach nap?

The producer rolls her eyes. The rancher mounts Charlie.

Bette – You should ask Jim to teach you how to properly tie a horse.

The blonde smiles teasingly.

Tina – Why bother? If it happens again, you will bring her back to me.

A smirk appears on the brunette’s face.

Bette – Don’t count on it! Next time, I’ll keep her … and you’ll have to walk your pretty little ass back to the ranch.

She gallops away toward the cabin. The horses neigh at each other.

Tina watches the woman and horse gallop away with a smirk on her face.  She mounts Minnie.

Tina – You don’t listen to advice, do you, Minnie? I know that you love Charlie but …

She chuckles.

Tina – … don’t you see that she can’t stand me?
