    Tina: I’ll think about it. The Waiter: Here you go. Sean: Just in time, thank you. C.J.: [reaching over takes two wine glasses handing one to Tina] Sean: [raising his glass] To the future! Tina: [raises her glass then takes a sip although she was excited she feared this new opportunity could have dire consequences

    Tina: I’ll think about it.

    The Waiter: Here you go.

    Sean: Just in time, thank you.

    C.J.: [reaching over takes two wine glasses handing one to Tina]

    Sean: [raising his glass] To the future!

    Tina: [raises her glass then takes a sip although she was excited she feared this new opportunity could have dire consequences on her already brittle marriage] Thank goodness I have 9-1-1 on speed dial Bette’s going to spazz out when I tell her about this. [she mumbles to herself]

    Alice House…..

    Alice: [rolling over in bed reaches for her cell phone that seemed to never stop ringing] Hello.

    Hey, Al it’s me Beverly.

    Alice: [still half asleep] Who?

    Beverly: Your executive producer, Beverly.

    Alice: Oh, yeah hi why are you calling me so early do you have any idea what time it is?

    Beverly: Its 2:15 p.m.

    Alice: Oh, okay goodnight.

    Beverly: Alice!

    Alice: Yeah.

    Beverly: It’s been four days do you plan on coming into work uh, I don’t know sometime in the near future perhaps!?

    Alice: [brushing a few strands out her face] I was going to come in today but—–.

    Beverly: [cutting her off] Let me guess what’s the excuse this time you’re having trouble holding a #2 pencil, or is it because you’re giving your fish a bath, or my personal favorite you came down with a sudden case of “Anal Glaucoma” a.k.a. you just couldn’t “see” your ass coming into work!

    Alice: Classic.

    Beverly: So, what’s the excuse this time?

    Alice: Oh, it’s a good one.

    Beverly: [impatiently waiting] I’m listening.

    Alice: My legs are hungover.

    Beverly: Alice?

    Alice: I can’t adult today.

    Beverly: Alice?

    Alice: My cat has separation issues.

    Beverly: Alice?

    Alice: I have an anime for beginners class.

    Beverly: Alice?

    Alice: I’m starting to feel sick tomorrow.

    Beverly: Alice!!!!!?

    Alice: Okay, fine the truth is I can’t come in because the stress is bad for the baby.

    Beverly: You’re not pregnant what baby!?

    Alice: Me.

    Beverly: ALICE!!!!!!!!

    Alice: [sighing in frustration] Alright…alright okay fine I’ll be in tomorrow.

    Beverly: Are you sure?

    Alice: Yeah, I’m sure.

    Beverly: Sweeps week is coming up and it’s important we shoot these new episodes if you still want to keep your show.

    Alice: Yeah, yeah I’ll be there I promise, oh shoot wait!

      This chapter was worth the long waiting.

      It was very funny, had to laugh about Bette and Shane.

      I hope you will not break up my favourite couple B&T, they need to talk and then a long sweaty make up session ????
