Lara: Because that’s what she told me!
Leslie: I swear you will believe anything!
Lara: I believed you when you told me Coke was black swamp water I wouldn’t like.
Leslie: [handing her a glass smiles]
Lara: Or when you told me smelling your farts would bring us closer.
Leslie: [laughs out loud]
Lara: And my personal favorite, [mimicking her voice] “Trust me Lara if you kiss boys frogs will grow inside your vagina.”
Leslie: [falls back onto the couch laughing]
Lara: [sarcastically] Thanks to you I’ve been kissing girls ever since!
Leslie: Hey, that was me being a nurturing sister!
Lara: First of all, you were a liar and secondly there are terrorist groups more nurturing than you. [she says then takes a sip of her wine]
Leslie: I don’t really see it as lying just delaying telling the truth……slightly.
Lara: [shaking her head] You’re the worse.
Leslie: Yes, I was [she says smiling in admiration] but I’m here now and all jokes aside I’m worried
about you.
Lara: [somberly stares at her]
Leslie: When she came by the house I got the impressions she wanted to work things out, I can sit here and tell you what you should do but—-.
Lara: [cutting her off] You think I should end things?
Leslie: That’s not for me to decide.
Lara: [sitting down next to her] She betrayed me in the worst possible way if I do see this through how am I ever going to trust her again? And around Alice? 10 years? 10 years? All this time she’s still secretly in love with her and never told me but then again maybe all the signs were there and I just choose to ignore them.
Leslie: You can ask her to choose.
Lara: [hurt now in her voice] I could, but what if she chooses her? Besides, the person you’re meant to be with shouldn’t have to be chased, begged, or given an ultimatum.
Leslie: Then you buy more jugs of wine, junk food, cry about it for a few days, and move on.
Lara: That’s easier said than done.
Leslie: [tapping her knee then leaning in kisses her on her forehead] Well, whatever it is you decide know I’m here for you.
Lara: Thanks.

Very nice chapter, very funny as always, now with big mouth Bette, jailed Tina, clueless Tasha, broken Kit, undecided Alice, forgetful Lara, slutty Shane, evil-crazy Jenny, “what a beautiful gang”.
I like this story very much, but you are abusing, why you leave us with so many cliffhangers.
What will Bette do? What will happen to Tina? How will Alice face Tasha? What are Dana’s real feelings? Why did Jenny come back?
Oh, come on Skunk, you have to update soon.
