That moment Tina walked in, crying. Kit heard Tina before she saw her.

“Yes, baby girl, you are family to me. You treat my sister right as my sister should treat you right. And if, if ever things don’t work out. Be civil, respect one another. But believe me, what you two have is a once in a life time situation. Cherish it, treat it like it’s the most precious thing on earth.”

Kit took Tina in her embrace with Bette and both, Tina and Bette cried. Being soothed by Kit.

After Kit soothed her sister and Tina and their tears dried, she ordered them to go wash their faces and then come back to eat.

In the bathroom Tina turned to Bette.

“Babe, I love you.”

“Love you back and more.”

They kissed and walked back with their fingers entangled. When they walked into the dining room, Kit had already set the table so they could dig in.
Dinner was pleasant and they told each other stories from their youth. They were having fun and laughed until tears were running down their cheeks.

“Okay ladies, it was fun but I think it’s time for me to go. Let me help you clean this mess up.” Kit said.

“No, Kit, you don’t have to.You brought us dinner, so the least we can do is clean up. Besides I feel fine, I had a nap so I’m good. You better go back to the Planet, we’ll manage.”

Tina stood up and hugged Kit.

“You’re welcome baby girl. Now you get better soon and don’t ever scare me like this no more.”

“I won’t Kit, I won’t. Thanks and I love you.” Tina hugged and kissed Kit.

“Hey, hey, how about me……….I’m the one you should love.”Bette said.

“Baby, I love you too, differently. You know that, don’t be jealous. You know what, I’ll show you later on.”

“Okay, now that’s my cue to leave.” Kit stood up with a bright smile on her face, took her bag and keys and walked to the front door. Tina followed her to lock up.

“See y’all tomorrow, goodnight……….and don’t stay up too long……..” She laughed her rich laugh, winked, opened the door and left.

Tina closed and locked the frontdoor and walked back to the diningroom where Bette already had cleaned the table and took the dishes and everything else to the kitchen.
Tina stepped behind her and wrapped her arms around her waist. She started to nibble on her ear and then slowly worked her way to her neck.
