“Let me show you how much I love you, babe. Come and join me in the bedroom.”

That’s all Bette needed to hear. So after she put the last plate in the dishwasher, she turned around and kissed Tina passionately.
All kissing and fumbling they walked to their bedroom. In the bedroom it didn’t take them long to undress.
The kisses became deeper and hotter and before long the made love to each other.

A few hours later when Tina got her breath back she looked into Bette’s eyes.

“No more babe, I can’t take no more. Let me return the favor.”

“Honey, usually I wouldn’t mind, but now I’m just as you. I can’t take no more. Let’s get some sleep.”

“Okay, babe, let’s do that.”

Tina spooned Bette and soon they fell asleep.

The weekend went by fast and Tina felt fine. No headaches, no dizzyness and the bruises were turning into a nice purple color. So everything looked perfectly normal. Tina decided she would go back to work.

Monday morning:

But then early Monday morning the phone rang.

“Porter-Kennard residance, Bette Porter speaking.”

“Goodmorning ms. Porter, this is doctor Harris, I’m looking for ms. Christina Kennard, is she around?”

“Yes she is.”

Bette walked to the bathroom where Tina was combing her hair.

“Babe, doctor Harris for you.”

“Doctor Harris?”

Goodmorning doctor Harris, Tina Kennard speaking.”

“Goodmorning ms. Kennard, I call you because we have the results from the tests. The bloodtests are alright but it’s the CT-scan that shows something unusual. I’d like to discuss that with you. Is it possible for you to come by the hospital today?”

“Well yes, what time do you want me to come?”

“Whatever time is convenient for you. This morning my agenda is blocked so I have some time.”

“Okay, I can be there within half an hour.”

“Okay, see you then.”

Tina turned to Bette, face pale. Bette noticed something is wrong with Tina.

“What’s wrong babe, what did doctor Harris say?”

“They saw something on the CT-scan and he wants me to come over, now.”

“Okay, I’ll call James to cancel all my appointments. I’ll go with you.”

Bette called the galery to tell James what went on and that she would join Tina to the hospital.
