    Bette snorted, a smirk touching at her lips before she realized that smiling may not be appropriate for the current situation.     Bette snorted, a smirk touching at her lips before she realized that smiling may not be appropriate for the current situation. She willed it away.

    “I love how incredibly loyal you are to those you care about. And most importantly ..” Tina continued as she closed the distance between them, placing a loving hand on Bette’s cheek. “I love that you love Angie so much, you would do anything to protect her”

    Her thumb stroked Bette’s cheek so tenderly that the brunette couldn’t help but reach up to grasp her girlfriend’s slender wrist, holding it captive. Tina looked at her with so much love and warmth that Bette was at a loss for words, her eyes burning with the approaching tears.

    “It’s why I fell so hopelessly in love with you”

    Tina‘s eyes dropped to Bette’s lips and gazed at them with a longing that told Bette the blonde was contemplating kissing her. Their talk was clearly going better than they thought, the realization making the brunette want to chuckle at her over reactive thoughts.

    “But Bette ..”

    And there it was. Two words that settled like a lead weight in Bette’s stomach. Screw her accurate over reactive thoughts.

    Tina looked up to meet Bette’s gaze and the brunette saw the uncertainly in those beautiful hazel orbs. The blonde was clearly struggling say her next words however necessary she felt they were.

    “You can’t just swoop in and remove anything you feel is even remotely threatening to Angie”

    Bette couldn’t help but scoff, ever the stubborn brunette. “Yes I can”

    Tina sighed as her hand fell away from Bette’s face and the brunette mourned the loss,

    “How is anything ever going to work out if you don’t give it the chance to?”

    Tina took a step back and Bette found herself hating the distance between them. Nevertheless, she crossed her arms unwilling to relent in her ways. Tina had been right, she wouldn’t bend to something she didn’t agree with. As stubborn as it made her seem, Bette wouldn’t stop until Tina understood her side of things. She had promised not to run away anymore which meant sticking around to argue an issue she truly believed in, no matter the outcome. She just hoped she wouldn’t regret it later.

    11. I was able to reread the previous chapters and this one, wow had forgotten how much i love this story!

      I don’t trust Kevin, he is trying to get Tina back through Angie, but he will fail in that purpose, Tina is so much in love with Bette and thinking about their future.

      Loved the idea for a set up for Kevin, so that the gang can watch him in secret.

      I am so happy that you will end this story and i am looking forward to many more chapters!

    13. New to your stories love the way you write Bette and Tina!

      Giving Kevin a chance to get to know his daughter is the right thing to do. I hope really tries for Angie’s sake. But I have a feeling his INSECURITIES and JEALOUSY of Tina’s relationship with Bette will big problem for him!

      Can’t wait to see where this is headed, Tina and Bette are in love and Tina’s already thinking LONG term! :)
