    “An open mind?” The brunette couldn’t help but laugh, “He showed up late to what should have been the second most important day of his life. He missed her birth which should have been his first. I think having an open mind is damn near impossible”

    “God, I know okay?” Tina ran a frustrated hand through her hair as she looked up at Bette, the tears that welled up in her eyes was enough to break the brunette’s heart. “Don’t you think I’ve thought about this situation since the moment I filed for divorce? Over and over I’ve played the scenarios in my head”

    Bette raised an eyebrow in a silent bid for Tina to continue. Her arms were still crossed and the blonde couldn’t help but love and hate the brunette’s stubborn nature.

    “We can’t take the option of getting to know him away from Angie. We just can’t. She needs to be able to make that decision for herself or one day she will resent us for it”

    Tina could see the wheels turning in Bette’s head, knowing that she couldn’t stop or the brunette would eventually rebel against her words. She was getting through, she had to push forward.

    “I need you to trust that I’m trying to do what’s best for Angie in the long run. She will seek Kevin out one day and if she ever finds out that we kept him from her, she’s going to hate us”

    As much as she hated it, Bette could feel her anger dissipating. She stubbornly tried to hold onto it but deep down, Tina made excellent points. Selfishly she hadn’t been thinking about Angie in the future and the questions she would one day ask. She never wanted Angie to think that she purposely kept a part of her life from her.

    “Okay” Bette finally relented, sighing heavily in surrender. “I’ll try to keep an open mind. All I’m saying is if he fucks up one time, one time and he’s-“

    Tina’s lips were on her a second later, feeding her a deep kiss.

    11. I was able to reread the previous chapters and this one, wow had forgotten how much i love this story!

      I don’t trust Kevin, he is trying to get Tina back through Angie, but he will fail in that purpose, Tina is so much in love with Bette and thinking about their future.

      Loved the idea for a set up for Kevin, so that the gang can watch him in secret.

      I am so happy that you will end this story and i am looking forward to many more chapters!

    13. New to your stories love the way you write Bette and Tina!

      Giving Kevin a chance to get to know his daughter is the right thing to do. I hope really tries for Angie’s sake. But I have a feeling his INSECURITIES and JEALOUSY of Tina’s relationship with Bette will big problem for him!

      Can’t wait to see where this is headed, Tina and Bette are in love and Tina’s already thinking LONG term! :)
