    The horror on Bette’s face made Tina regret her confession for a moment, then realizing that it was important for them to be honest with each other. She knew how Bette had felt so it was only right to share what had been going on inside her own head. Before Bette could utter any more

    The horror on Bette’s face made Tina regret her confession for a moment, then realizing that it was important for them to be honest with each other. She knew how Bette had felt so it was only right to share what had been going on inside her own head.

    Before Bette could utter any more apologies, Tina placed a finger over her girlfriend’s lips to silence her.

    “Being a parent pretty much came to us at the same time. Not only do we have to raise a child but we have to find a flow that works for us. It’s going to take some time but we’ll get it right”

    Tina watched as the sadness washed away, understanding taking root before Bette flashed that smile that never failed to make her weak in the knees, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life getting it right”

    “Well I hope it doesn’t take that long” Tina laughed quietly, her thumbs resuming to lovingly caressing Bette’s soft cheeks. “I want to be able to enjoy our life together too, you know”

    “Who said it won’t be enjoyable?” Bette teased as she leaned forward to rest her head against Tina’s, her eyes closing of their own accord.

    Their breathing picked up, the atmosphere shifting between them as they remained there in each other’s arms. It was Bette who spoke first, saying words that both surprised and disappointed her.

    “Can we just sleep?”

    As much as she desired Tina, she was completely drained from the night’s events. She was instantly filled with guilt and worry, afraid that Tina would be offended. Thankfully as the blonde pulled back, Bette easily saw in her eyes that Tina had felt the same. They were both exhausted.

    “Sure”

    The blonde led them to the bed where they undressed each other slowly, their eyes never leaving the other. There was nothing sexual about the act, all their love and care expressed through every discarded article of clothing.

    Pulling back the covers they finally collapsed into bed, naked and content.

    Tina laid on her side as Bette slid in behind her, wrapping an arm around the blonde and surrounding her with warmth.

    Tina closed her eyes and sighed blissfully as she felt Bette around her, “You feel so good”

    4. Thank you for this story. I was sitting in my office today and reading this one over again. My boss wondered what had me so enthralled lol. I love a happy Tibette ending. It’s something so special about these two. I love them. Inexplicably, because of all the challenges that come their way. They always overcome and that’s what truly matters.
