Conversation ceased among the group of ladies as Jeffrey and Mrs. Porter took their seats on the decorative futon. Four pairs of eyes were silently scrutinizing every particle and movement of the unannounced strangers as two pairs of eyes were bolding doing the same to them. A jumble of thoughts were spinning in each of their heads and the uncomfortable atmosphere was becoming claustrophobic for no one spoke a word; not even the lady of the house. Being the gracious host that Tina was, she politely introduced herself and the gang. “Ladies, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Jeffrey and this is Diana”. Jeffrey didn’t elaborate further and it was evident that he was not about to volunteer additional information. As Alice was the inquisitive one of the group, she noticed the slight accent of his voice and was very curious as to which country they had traveled from. “I note your accent, Jeffrey. If you don’t mind me asking, where are you from originally?” Jeffrey answered her question honestly, “Egypt“. Alice became intrigued and said, “Really. Far from home don’t you think?” Jeffrey froze his gaze on her and stated, “No”. Alice was becoming to realize that Jeffrey didn’t divulge more than what you asked for and sensed that he was not accustomed to being the one interrogated. “One more question. Does your vocabulary include more than one word?” He smiled slightly and confirmed, “Yes”.
Alice focused her attention on Diana and said, “You’re the lady from the hospital; the one that was sneaking into Bette’s room”. Diana eyed Alice as she would with any irritating servant and in an accent identical to Jeffrey’s spoke, “I do not sneak and what I have to discuss with my daughters is no concern of yours”. You could break the tension with a knife as the ladies circled Alice to provide quick blockage should she be tempted to claw her way through the conversation. “Diana, being disrespectful is one’s home can get you thrown out on your ass. I will have no problem showing you to the door”. Tina stated with forceful clarity. Diana was impressed with the lovely Tina Kennard; the woman to have captured her daughter’s heart was very special indeed. She was also the one that couldn’t have her. “My daughter’s name is on the mortgage papers, Ms. Kennard. So if you wanted to throw someone out, it wouldn’t be me”. Being the charming person that Alice was, she commented, “Like I mentioned before, born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Tell me Diana. Are you always this rude or is it just part of your wonderfully drugged induced personality?” Jeffrey calmly stepped in to divert the attention back to him in order to avoid a catastrophic collision, “Is Los Angels always this hot?” An electric silence followed his question.

The length was just fine. :) I can see why Bette kept this a secret. Like she said, she wanted Tina to love her as Bette. Some people can’t see beyond a title, fame or wealth. I think Tina would’ve been star struck at first but she wouldn’t have cared if Bette was dirt poor. She would’ve loved her regardless. Plus, it’s not easy to believe a piece of news like, “Oh by the way I’m next in line to run my country. Can we have sex now?”
And miracles do happen…Yeh, thank you…and I agree with Succ1…no end in sight…I’m buckled and lov’n it!!!!

Wow, this story is still very intriquing. Bette as a Queen. Tina is as mad as a hornet’s nest, but I can understand Bette wanting Tina to love her for her and not the position. Does this mean that on the next flight to Bette’s country that we will find one Tina Kennard-Porter and a very handsome Kyle Kennard-Porter? Now that would piss off one mommy dearest. Yes you did great but now you have to post again. I do miss the dark/light angles hanging around though.
