“Jess it’s okay, it’s fine” Lisa tried to soothe her sister grabbing a towel and wrapping it around her sister

“Jess, what’s wrong?” Carmen asked rushing over to Jess

“There’s blood all over the bathroom” Lisa panicked

Bette quickly helped Carmen get Jess dressed, Jess stood frozen on the spot. Carmen gently lifted Jess into her arms walking out the room with her.

Tina just came in the door as Carmen reached the bottom stair carrying Jess, concern rushed over her face “What happened?”

“I don’t know, let’s just get her to the hospital” Carmen said

“I’ll meet you there” Lisa said running back upstairs to her room to get dressed

Tina opened her car door allowing Carmen to gently place Jess in the back seat. She ran to the other side getting in the car.

“It’s going to be okay, don’t worry” Carmen stroked Jess’s face

“I’m going to have a seizure I can feel it” Jess said

Bette looked at Tina concerned, Tina picked up speed ignoring the legal requirements.

“Hi it’s Bette Kennard Porter here I’m on route with my daughter, can someone inform Arizona that were coming in please…yes there’s a lot of blood and she thinks she’s about to have a seizure, she’s sweating a lot and her colour has drained, no no her wife is beside her she’s pregnant and due next Thursday…look I don’t know any of these question’s you’re asking me, can you just make sure someone is available when we get there!”

“Bette she’s passing out here!” Carmen panicked “Baby keep your eyes open for me…baby please don’t do this too me….jess open your eyes”

“Will you hurry up Tina!” Bette snapped

5 minutes later they got to the hospital. Arizona, Callie and few others were waiting at the door.

Arizona opened the door; Carmen had her arms wrapped around Jess.

“Carmen you need to let her go” Callie said signalling for the make doctors to lift Jess out the car and place her on the gurney

“Take her straight to ICU” Arizona instructed

Carmen followed them straight in ignoring the “you can’t be in here” comment made. Bette and Tina were right behind her.

“Nope were going to need to get her into the or.” Arizona put her stethoscope back round her neck
