TUESDAY
8-10 p.m. The Biggest Loser
10-11 p.m. Parenthood
Tuesday will see the return of a reality series The Biggest Loser and a family drama Parenthood, which is a one-hour drama inspired by the movie with the same name and follows the trials and tribulations of the very large, diverse and imperfect Braverman family.
WEDNESDAY
8-8:30 p.m. Up All Night
8:30-9 p.m. Free Agents
9-10 p.m. Harry’s Law
10-11 p.m. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Two new half-hour comedies are going to be introduced on Wednesday nights. The first one is Up All Night, starring Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph, written by Saturday Night Live’s Emily Spivey. The comedy centers on a proud new parents, Reagan and Chris, who are about to find out whether it’s really possible to have it all after you have a baby.
It will be followed by another new comedy, Free Agents, about two co-workers on a rebound, played by Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn. The network describes it as a crooked workplace romantic comedy and the cast also includes Anthony Head from Buffy.
As I mentioned before, Harry’s Law was moved from Mondays to Wednesday’s 9 pm slot and will go up against Criminal Minds on CBS and The X Factor on FOX, so it will be interesting to see how it will do regarding the ratings.
