“So… are you going to tell me how you managed to get this room?” I asked.
“Do you have any idea who I am?” she joked as she wiped stray tears off her face. We stood up together and walked towards the door, which Ashley opened with a key. “Oh by the way, she’s not my assistant anymore. I got her a job with a different band.” I nodded, not wanting Stella to ever be brought up in conversation again. I grasped onto her hand as we made our way back outside. Yeah, we could work it out…

Present Day
“Spence… wake up. We’re here, babe.” I kissed her nose before stepping out of the limo. We were at the airport on Thanksgiving Day, headed back to LA for dinner with the Carlin family. I also had to make an appearance at some benefit event later on in the night, which I was definitely not excited for. Both of us were exhausted, since we had just returned a couple days ago from a trip to Paris, which was in celebration of our one-year anniversary/ Spencer’s 21st birthday. It had been amazing, plain and simple. While Paris is somewhat of a cliché, it really is the most romantic city there is. Despite a rough summer, we were back to normal and I couldn’t be happier.
After struggling with our heavy luggage, we made it onto the plane (private, of course) and were able to relax again. We reclined back in the chairs and I gave Spencer a kiss before resting my head back down.
“Suddenly I’m not so tired anymore,” she teased as she brought her lips to mine. We remained in liplock until it appeared that both of us were, in fact, still tired.
“We should get some sleep,” I told her, to which she nodded in agreement.
“I love you.”
“I love you too,” I responded.
“Sing me something,” she requested sleepily. It had become somewhat of a custom that, when she remembered, I would sing her to sleep. After a few moments of thinking of a song, it came to me.
“Ready?” I asked. She nodded and laid her head back down, and I began to sing:
‘Well the sun is surely sinking down

First off, I just wan to say that I am SOOOOOO HAPPY that you are finally back, I just LOVE your stories. Second, I can’t believe that Mr. C has cancer. He can’t have cancer, he is a great dad and I really wish that he was my dad. I just hope that he can get rid of it and NOT die. I hope that Ashley and Spencer will be okay and that Spencer will not get depressed about her dad. Just post the next chapter real soon.
