Bette – Hello …
Marina – Hey, Shane!
Alice – What’s up, Eighth Wonder?
Shane – Nothing much, Al. Just hanging …
Alice – My friend Jo loved the haircut! She said that she was going to spread the news everywhere!
Shane – Good! And how’re you doing this morning?
Alice – Oh, we are doing great … celebrating Bette’s exhibit!
Shane – Oh yes … the girls told me about it yesterday.
She turns to the gallery owner somewhat shyly.
Shane – Congratulations, Bette!
Bette nods with a half-smile.
Bette – Thanks!
Tina – Shane, have you met my friend, Meg?
Shane – Oh, hi … nice to meet you, Meg!
She smiles charmingly.
Meg – Hi, Shane!
The producer turns to her.
Tina – Shane is a hairdresser. She works just around the corner.
Meg – Ah …
Marina – Have you ordered your usual, Shane?
Shane – Not yet …
Marina – Let me get it for you.
Shane – Uh … don’t worry, I’ll get it.
She points to the counter.
Shane – I’m … heading back that way.
Alice – So soon?
Bette glances at her girlfriend and turns to the young hairdresser.
Bette – Would you like to … join us?
The producer glances at her with a smile on her face.
Shane looks at her surprised.
Shane – Uh … are you sure?
The gallery owner nods.
Bette – Yes …
Tina – Yeah … grab a chair, Shane!
The hairdresser smiles.
Shane – OK …
She grabs a chair behind her and sits by Alice’s side.
Marina – I’ll go get your coffee!
She leaves.
Tina caresses Bette’s arm and they share a smile.

The Planet, early afternoon: Marina returns to the table carrying a cake followed by a waitress carrying a tray with champagne glasses. She places the cake in front of Bette.
Marina – Congratulations, Bette!
The gallery owner grins staring at the cake, decorated with a red moon.
Bette – Wow, Marina! You didn’t need to bother.
The waitress serves the drinks to the six women and leaves.
Marina – It was Alice’s idea.
Tina – Very nice, Al!
Bette looks at her friend with emotion in her eyes.
Bette – Thank you, my friend!
Alice – You’re welcome!
She raises her glass.
Alice – C’mon, everybody, let’s cheer! To the success of Midnight Moon and the Bette Porter Gallery!
Everyone raises their glasses.
Everyone – Cheers!

So, i see meeting with Melvin in the future. Always know how he would react on Tina, but always don’t know how Bette would react on his reaction in different stories. Is she dismiss Tina, like in TLW and leave her alone to go to the home, or she can find the courage and defend her girlfriend/partner?

I still love how assertive Tina is in her relationship to Bette. She’s not yet completely out yet but she doesn’t hesitate in anything when she’s with Bette. Relaxed and self-assured in their physical relationship, with Bette’s friends, out in the club, claiming her woman in front of Gwen and even picks up the Bette’s phone. I think she’s ready to be out officially.
I’m really curious how Tina will react to a meeting with Melvin.
