Meg, Marina and Tina also clap.
The gallery owner grins and bows.
Bette – I bow to your superior judgment, Miss Pieszecki!
The women chuckle.
The two girlfriends sit down.
Meg – Congrats, Bette!
Marina – Congratulations, Bette!
Bette – Thank you, ladies!
The producer kisses Meg’s cheek.
Tina – Hey!
They smile at each other.
Meg – Hey!
She lowers her voice.
Meg – Late partying?
Tina winks.
Alice turns to Bette.
Alice – Have you seen the papers? The opening was mentioned in all of them!
The gallery owner nods smiling.
Bette – Yep! Thank you for spreading the news!
Alice – And … have you seen your picture in the LA Times?
Bette looks annoyed.
Bette – Yes. I should demand a retraction!
Alice raises an eyebrow and points to Tina with her eyes.
Alice – Was the missus OK?
The producer chuckles.
Tina – Yes, I was OK.
Alice – Aren’t we civilized?
Meg – Why?
Tina – They wrote that Gwen is Bette’s girlfriend.
Meg – Really? Well, she knows who you are now.
Alice – She does?!
Bette turns to her girlfriend with a proud smile.
Bette – Tina made it very clear to her yesterday!
Alice – Alright, Miss Tina! You’re coming out!
She raises her coffee cup to Tina who smiles.

The Planet, late morning: The five women are eating brunch and talking.
Marina – I plan to go home for a month in the fall and you ladies are invited to visit.
Meg – Where is home?
Alice – Italy!
Marina – My family owns a villa in Tuscany.
Meg – Wow!
Tina – That would be fun!
Bette – It’s exquisite!
The producer turns to her surprised.
Tina – You’ve been there?!
Bette – David and I went to Rome on business a couple of years ago and we stopped by to see Marina.
Meanwhile, Shane enters the café looking sleepy and walks over to the counter. Not a second later, two young women approach her.
Alice notices the young butch.
Alice – Shane!
The hairdresser turns around and waves to her friend, who gestures for her to approach. She says goodbye to her fans and heads to Alice’s table with a smile.
Shane – Hey, Al!
Alice – Hi, Shane!
Shane – Hello, ladies!
She waves to the other women on the table.
Tina – Hi, Shane!
Bette and Tina exchange a knowing look.

So, i see meeting with Melvin in the future. Always know how he would react on Tina, but always don’t know how Bette would react on his reaction in different stories. Is she dismiss Tina, like in TLW and leave her alone to go to the home, or she can find the courage and defend her girlfriend/partner?

I still love how assertive Tina is in her relationship to Bette. She’s not yet completely out yet but she doesn’t hesitate in anything when she’s with Bette. Relaxed and self-assured in their physical relationship, with Bette’s friends, out in the club, claiming her woman in front of Gwen and even picks up the Bette’s phone. I think she’s ready to be out officially.
I’m really curious how Tina will react to a meeting with Melvin.
