The art dealer turns back to Tina with a warm smile.
David – I’ll be glad to entertain an offer from you, my dear!
Tina – It’ll be my pleasure, David!
She returns the smile.

David Ross’ mansion, night: Eric and Tina are still talking to David when a beautiful redhead approaches them and hugs David warmly, interrupting their conversation.
Gwen – David, darling, your party is wonderful, as usual!
David – Hello, Gwen! How is the most beautiful Beverly Hills socialite doing tonight?
Gwen smiles.
Gwen – I’m having a great time, David!
David – I’m happy, my dear! Please meet Eric Moore and Tina Kennard. This is the beautiful Gwen Taylor.
The redhead turns to the couple with little interest, while still hugging David.
Gwen – Hello …
Eric – Nice to meet you!
Tina – Hi!
Gwen turns to David again.
Gwen – Have you seen Bette, David?
David – Not yet. But she will come!
Tina’s eyes widen and she immediately takes an interest in the redhead, discreetly checking her up and down. The woman is wearing nothing short of a stunning champagne sequin haute couture gown with a thigh-high slit.
Gwen – Well, would you please let her know as soon as she arrives? I can’t wait to see her!
David – Most assuredly!
Gwen turns to Tina and Eric.
Gwen – Will you excuse me?
She leaves and the three pairs of eyes follow her, noticing her slender bare back.
David – Isn’t she dazzling?
Eric – Yes!
Tina – Yeah …
She takes a sip of her drink.

David Ross’ front gate, night: Bette drives to the front gate and steps out of the car, giving the keys to the valet. She is invited to get into a golf cart driven by a young man which quickly takes her up the driveway to the front door.

David Ross’ mansion, night: Eric and Tina are still talking to David when Bette enters the main room alone. Her jumpsuit hugs her upper body tightly, exposing her toned arms and attracting attention to her cleavage. She glances around the room and immediately spots the art dealer and his two companions in the center of the room.
David – And I brought a lot of merchandise this time. Fabulous artists!

Great chapter, Tina is still in denial but hard to contain herself, and from my point of view is ready to give up; looking at Bette like a teenager who can’t control her emotions.
But that is good because she is hard to get, for Bette, this is not just attraction, it’s also a challenge.

This Bette and Tina are both intriguing and mysterious. They are both having emotions which they do not recognize and cannot seem to identify. It seems they have an attraction to the someone which is either taboo or unattainable, but seems irresistible. I love this story so far. I look forward to seeing how these two make their way to each other.
Tina is in deep denial over her feelings for Bette. I hope she doesn’t keep rejecting Bette’s advances and make Bette seek out other women. I will be interested to know why Tina is afraid to accept her attraction for Bette.

Tina so in denial about her feelings and attraction to Bette. Her mouth is saying one thing but her eyes spoke the real truth and Bette catched that.
Others can see the connection between them but her own boyfriend is as clueless as always.
Looking forward to see the story develop.
