Tina’s apartment, late night: Tina enters the dark kitchen wearing a robe and opens the freezer, grabbing a carton of chocolate ice cream and a spoon from the drawer. She makes her way to the living room with a pout on her face and sits in the couch, propping her feet up on the coffee table and turning on the TV. She wolfs down a mouthful of ice cream and closes her eyes to savor the taste.

Bette’s bedroom, late night: Bette is sitting in bed, under the covers, making a phone call.
Bette – Hi, are you awake?
Alice is in her bedroom, lying in bed in the dark, looking like she just woke up.
Alice – Uh … what time is it?
The brunette glances at the clock on her nightstand.
Bette – Umm … 3:07 am.
Alice – Nope, not awake.
The gallery owner sighs annoyed.
Alice – What’s up?
Bette – Uh … I can’t sleep.
Alice – And you want to spread the insomnia around?
Bette chuckles.
Bette – Yeah …
Her friend yawns.
Bette – What do you think … of Gwen Taylor?
Alice – She is something!
The brunette looks distracted for a moment.
Alice – Why?
Bette – Have you … have you ever obsessed about a woman?
Alice looks surprised.
Alice – Are you obsessed with Gwen?!
Bette – Jesus! No …
Alice – Then with whom?
Bette – Uh … It’s just … hypothetical.
Alice – You called me at 3 am to ask a hypothetical question?
The gallery owner sighs with frustration.
Bette – I can’t sleep …
Alice – Well …
She sits in bed and turns on the lamp on her nightstand.
Alice – Alright. (pause) As a matter of fact, yes, I was obsessed with a woman once.
Bette – How did you feel?
Alice – Well … I daydreamed about her all day long … and then I wet dreamed about her all night.
Bette chuckles.
Bette – Wet dreamed?
Alice – Yep!
The brunette looks pensive.
Bette – Yeah … I know.
Alice raises an eyebrow.
Alice – You do?!
Bette bites her lower lip.
Bette – And what happened to your obsession?
Alice – I dated her for six weeks and then … she dumped me!
The brunette frowns.
Bette – You obsessed … about me?!
Alice – Yep!
Bette – What is there to be obsessed about?!

Oh, my. I don’t think Tina is going to be able to resist Bette for long. I’m not sure that there is a woman alive who could resist this type of seduction – the looks, the maintaining of distance and when the opportunity presents itself to place yourself so near but not touching. Of course, the voice control with the suggestive words? Who wouldn’t just melt. Put that on top of the fact that both men and women find Bette to be very desirable. And what Tina may or may not know, is that Bette’s has never pursued any woman in this manner – Tina is different. Tina is so humble, I don’t think that she realizes how beautiful she is.
Wonderful chapter – two Greek Goddesses in the garden admiring works of art! Love it…keep these coming.

I think Bette shouldn’t date Gwen when she is so clearly smitten and obsessed about Tina, but i would understand if she does, Gwen is a beautiful lady and Tina is with that loser Eric.
They dance around each other and it will take Tina more time to accept and act on her feelings for Bette.

Great chapter, I think Tina already got the message, all her body and heart is telling her to turn to “L”, only her brain is insisting on keep going straight.
She felt dissatisfaction but when Eric offered to pass the night with her, she refused, proof that she is no longer interested in men, she has been cornered by Bette.
Bette is also another interesting case, no girl resisted her, but this blonde is taking the best from her, and so far nothing (????) well, think fast Bette.
I look forward to the invitation to Bette Porter’s party, with the main course of the feast “hot blonde in her juices”.
