Tina watches her walk away in shock. She finally turns her face back to the Greek goddess… and exhales.

Tina’s apartment, late night: Tina opens her front door and comes in, followed by Eric. She turns to him and they kiss lightly, but she quickly breaks the kiss.
He wraps his arms around her waist and she places her open hands on his chest.
Eric – Am I invited to stay?
Tina – I’m a little tired. Maybe I need to sleep tonight.
He looks disappointed.
Eric – I think that you need a vacation. You’ve been quite tired lately.
Tina – Uh-huh. Maybe I do.
Eric – We can plan something soon.
She nods but her body language is flat and she speaks without conviction.
Tina – Yeah … let’s.
He kisses her forehead.
Eric – Call me tomorrow.
Tina – OK.
When he leaves, she closes the door and rests against it with a sigh.
Chapter 9 Insomnia
Bette’s Gallery, morning: Bette comes in looking upset. She throws her briefcase and purse on her desk and brings her hand to her forehead, pressing it with her fingers.
Bette – Fuck! (pause) James?
James peeks into her office.
James – Yes, Bette?
Bette – Do you have any pain medication? I already have a headache!
James – Is something wrong?
Bette – I just … didn’t sleep well.
James – Let me get it for you.
Bette – Thanks!
She sighs in frustration, blowing air from her mouth.

Tina’s office, morning: Tina is on the phone looking very upset.
Tina – What do you mean that we cannot extend this contract? We are in the last month of production and we can’t have this house for three more fucking weeks?!
She listens attentively and rolls her eyes.
Tina – Sandy, I don’t care! We need to get this house to finish the production!
She pauses to listen again and sighs heavily.
Tina – I know … I know it’s not your fault.
Her irritation subsides and she looks more controlled.
Tina – We need to negotiate with the owner. Please set up a meeting with him and I’ll personally handle it. (pause) OK, thanks!
She hangs up and places both her hands on her temples.
Tina – Shit!
Tina’s co-worker comes in with two cups of coffee.
Tina – No coffee for me, thanks!
Susan – Problems?

Oh, my. I don’t think Tina is going to be able to resist Bette for long. I’m not sure that there is a woman alive who could resist this type of seduction – the looks, the maintaining of distance and when the opportunity presents itself to place yourself so near but not touching. Of course, the voice control with the suggestive words? Who wouldn’t just melt. Put that on top of the fact that both men and women find Bette to be very desirable. And what Tina may or may not know, is that Bette’s has never pursued any woman in this manner – Tina is different. Tina is so humble, I don’t think that she realizes how beautiful she is.
Wonderful chapter – two Greek Goddesses in the garden admiring works of art! Love it…keep these coming.

I think Bette shouldn’t date Gwen when she is so clearly smitten and obsessed about Tina, but i would understand if she does, Gwen is a beautiful lady and Tina is with that loser Eric.
They dance around each other and it will take Tina more time to accept and act on her feelings for Bette.
Looking forward to the next chapter!!!

Great chapter, I think Tina already got the message, all her body and heart is telling her to turn to “L”, only her brain is insisting on keep going straight.
She felt dissatisfaction but when Eric offered to pass the night with her, she refused, proof that she is no longer interested in men, she has been cornered by Bette.
Bette is also another interesting case, no girl resisted her, but this blonde is taking the best from her, and so far nothing (????) well, think fast Bette.
I look forward to the invitation to Bette Porter’s party, with the main course of the feast “hot blonde in her juices”.
