The producer nods annoyed.
Tina – I haven’t been sleeping well and now … this!
Susan – Why can’t you sleep? Work?
Tina sighs frustrated.

Bette’s office, afternoon: Bette is on the phone looking extremely irritated.
Bette – What do you mean that I can’t have my paintings?!
She listens and frowns, replying in a condescending tone.
Bette – Jeff, listen to me, because I’m only going to say this once. I found this amazing artist on the other side of the world and I need his paintings. In my gallery. Next month. Have I made myself clear?
She pauses to listen and looks even more irritated.
Bette – I don’t care about fucking international trade rules! Do you know what it’s like to want something every second of your day?! To desire something with every fiber of your being and not to be able to have it because of stupid fucking rules?! I don’t care if you break the rules, change the rules, make your own rules … but I want these paintings and I will have them!
She hangs up loudly and presses her forehead again in discomfort.
A minute later, James comes in.
James – Bette, Andy Stewart just called and it seems that the Sandra Cohen collection wasn’t delivered yesterday as planned.
Bette – Oh, fuck you, James! Just … fuck you!

Tina’s office, late afternoon: Tina grabs her purse and briefcase and leaves her office. She stops in front of her assistant’s desk looking very tired.
Tina – Kathy, I’m going home. Call me if anything major happens.
Kathy – Are you OK?
Tina – I’ll be fine. I just need some rest to get rid of this persistent headache.
Kathy nods.
Kathy – Hope you feel better!
Tina – Thanks …
She walks away.

Bette’s backyard, late night: Bette is swimming free style in her pool with fast, powerful strokes. She stops on one side panting and turns around, closing her eyes and resting again the pool sidewall.
Why did she do that? – she asks herself. She should have grabbed the blonde and given her the kiss that she can’t stop thinking about. The kiss that she has craved like no other. The hell with Eric … the hell with rules! Her actions left her full of longing … and unable to sleep.

Oh, my. I don’t think Tina is going to be able to resist Bette for long. I’m not sure that there is a woman alive who could resist this type of seduction – the looks, the maintaining of distance and when the opportunity presents itself to place yourself so near but not touching. Of course, the voice control with the suggestive words? Who wouldn’t just melt. Put that on top of the fact that both men and women find Bette to be very desirable. And what Tina may or may not know, is that Bette’s has never pursued any woman in this manner – Tina is different. Tina is so humble, I don’t think that she realizes how beautiful she is.
Wonderful chapter – two Greek Goddesses in the garden admiring works of art! Love it…keep these coming.

I think Bette shouldn’t date Gwen when she is so clearly smitten and obsessed about Tina, but i would understand if she does, Gwen is a beautiful lady and Tina is with that loser Eric.
They dance around each other and it will take Tina more time to accept and act on her feelings for Bette.

Great chapter, I think Tina already got the message, all her body and heart is telling her to turn to “L”, only her brain is insisting on keep going straight.
She felt dissatisfaction but when Eric offered to pass the night with her, she refused, proof that she is no longer interested in men, she has been cornered by Bette.
Bette is also another interesting case, no girl resisted her, but this blonde is taking the best from her, and so far nothing (????) well, think fast Bette.
I look forward to the invitation to Bette Porter’s party, with the main course of the feast “hot blonde in her juices”.
