    Keeping the party going.

    Bette: Well, let me focus on you right now because you are definitely my one and only. Softly kisses Tina’s temple and continues their dance. Tina pulls Bette in just a bit tighter and breathes in the familiar scent of her wife.

    Kit: I know you two need to get this little one home and ready for school in the morning. I’ve boxed up the cake for you to take and everyone has a plate to take home too.

    Shane: Alice and I are going to hang around for ladies night, but we’ll help you carry this stuff to the car.

    Tina: Babe I’ll go with the girls while you and say good bye to Kit. Kit thank you for a wonderful surprise tonight and for taking care of Angelica while we were gone.

    Kit: It is always my pleasure to take care of my Boo. Angelica is now standing at Kit’s side hugging her aunt’s leg as Kit rubs her back. Tina, Shane and Alice head out to the car.

    Bette: Kit thank you so much. I was really surprised, but the best part was being able to enjoy the time with you. We are really blessed to have moments like tonight.

    Kit: Our biggest blessing is each other and the second, third and fourth chances we’ve given each other. Just know that I love you no matter what and you can always come to me.

    Bette: Oh I know that for sure and it’s a mutual promise. The sisters hug as do Kit and Angelica. Bette carries Angelica to the car as the day’s excitement is finally catching up with her.

    Bette puts Boo in her car seat and Tina is in the driver’s seat ready to take her family home.

    Tina: Ready babe.

    Bette: Yea, but I thought you liked being chauffeured?

    Tina: Well you know at some point I have to feel like I’m taking care of my family so indulge me, OK?

    Bette reaches over and places and hand on Tina’s thigh and squeezes. Five minutes later they are home. Bette carries Boo to the house and unlocks the door. Tina carries the food and award into the house. Bette puts Boo to bed waking her briefly for a bathroom stop while Tina grabs their luggage from the trunk. Tina locks up and is putting the food away in the kitchen when Bette joins her and hugs her from behind.

    1. Loved this story, lwsho. They are a great family together especially when Bette can relax and let the love happen. Having another child will be wonderful for them and it will also help Angie, although she is almost too grown now, with her take charge personality. It is not necessarily in the genes, it is also the environment that shapes up into the people we become. If hr mother’s are anything to judge by she will be quite a young lady, beautiful, smart, loving and one hell of an alpha. Won’t she. This is fun and I enjoy it, although for some reason I smell trouble in the air. Tell me I’m wrong. If not, plese don’t let it be too serious. Happy New Year. Post when you can.

    2. lwshow2005, I LOVE ANGIE!!! I had some time after dinner to settle myself in front of the fire as it snows at the moment, and read this very generous post. I enjoy reading good fics that have Angie in them. They are usually written with such fun, love, and a lightness which can be very easy to indulge in. Can’t wait for baby #2!!!!!! :- )))) Happy New Year and can’t wait for the next chappy. Oh and btw, good selection for a movie.

    12. Dimples, thanks for reading and replying. I’ve been bumped off course and not sure if I’ll resume writing this one. At some point I may wrap it up with another chapter, but my author days may be over; kind of in a Fan Fic funk at the moment.
